Red Sox getaway

We were in town to celebrate my husband’s birthday by going to Wrigley to see our Red Sox play. We arrived later from our flight but the manager had everything set up and had communication throughout! The place in a safe neighborhood and was updated and amazing in EVERY WAY! The beach was perfect and right there, the Red Line train is just a short walk away. I can’t say enough good about this place/location. I would definitely book here again!!!

Such a Beauty

Great neighborhood. Walking distance from a lot of great places. Beach located close by. Listing was clean and very secure. Communication with owner easy and pleasant. Will definitely stay again!

All the comforts of home!

This was a great place to celebrate the holidays. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils to make Christmas dinner and we had plenty of room to gather for game night. Beds were comfy and all amenities were in good condition. The apartment looks brand new! Loved the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers in the shower! Will definitely be back next Christmas. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great property and location

We were in town to visit Loyola-Chicago with my daughter and it was a perfect location and a really great property. Definitely enjoyed the cleanliness, decor and furnishings. Highly recommended.

Wonderful - would absolutely come back again!

So clean and welcoming with a terrific location just steps from a lovely beach! The property was very clean, comfortable and well-kept, and looked like the kitchen and bathrooms had been recently re-done (loved the tile and fixtures!). The shower in the master is a spa-like experience! Great communication with the owner, too. So happy with our stay, and we would absolutely look forward to saying here again!

Annual Friend Adventure

My east coast BFF and I meet some where in the States each year. This year we selected Chicago. We ended up staying at the Holiday Lake House! It was amazing. We were close to the beach, close to the city, close to neighborhood bars and restaurants. Communication was easy! Everything was wonderful.

Great Stay

Very clean and well thought out/supplied apartment on a lovely street a 30 second walk to Lake Michigan. There are 2 bedrooms, one larger master with en suite bathroom, and a second full bathroom and smaller bedroom. The unit is on the bottom floor so windows are high. Diane is friendly and responsive. The walk along the beach & out to an old lighthouse was a bonus. The street has mature trees and people walking dogs. There is a 7-11 on the corner and several restaurants walking distance. Target is near enough for us to walk to get groceries. So it's near some commercial activity but off to the side on a quiet street that ends at the Lake. We feel lucky to have found it, and would certainly stay again.

Wedding Stay

We stayed at this property for my daughter’s wedding. The property is immaculate!! And the location to the lake and beach is wonderful! Unfortunately we didn’t get beach time but if you are looking for this book it!! Our beds were comfy and the apartment was very quiet. Very nice area with easy walkable dining options since you are near Loyola. There is a nice park nearby as well. The host was extremely helpful and responsive and even offered a nail salon nearby for the wedding!! Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms even including a curling iron!! We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again.

Chicago Style

The location of the property is located in a neighborhood setting that was wonderful to take a walk and explore. Close to the Chicago Transportation Authority metro and unique eateries for breakfast and lunch. The properties furnishings and home away from home style was nice to call homebase.

2024 Pearl Jam Wrigley Home base

Great Communication, very detailed instructions on accessing the property. Now for our stay, my wife and I just loved this neighborhood. Just like the listing states, just steps away from the beach, my favorite thing to do from early in the morning to walking at night. You can’t go wrong at any location in this neighborhood

Excellent family getaway

I stayed here early August (4 days/3 nights) with my wife and two kids (ages 4 and 2). The checkin process was smooth as the host provided detailed information on everything. The apartment itself is amazing, very well maintained and had all the amenities we needed and kid friendly. Location: it's a few hundred feet from the beach and walking distance to shops. It's perfect for driving into the city or the suburbs. The parking is tight! But we were able to fit a midsize SUV somehow. And having a garage rather than street parking was a huge convenience. The host was super responsive and other tenants were very kind. We will definitely stay here again next time!

Wonderful stay!

Host was super easy to communicate with and very kind. Beds were very comfortable, home was very clean. The area was lovely, walked to grocery store and restaurants. Several walks on the beach, that’s right there. I’d stay in this home again!

Wonderful Week in Chicago!

This wonderful VRBO apartment was perfect for our Chicago vacation! The location was amazing: beautiful, safe neighborhood just blocks from the beach/lake, CTA Red Line, and restaurants. It was clean and tastefully decorated. It was also abundantly stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was great and very attentive to ensuring we had a great stay! We visit Chicago often and will look to return to this property each time! Thank you!!

Very nice

We’re a family of four and enjoyed our stay. The property was super clean, well designed, & stylish. We walked to Starbucks, the beach, giordano’s pizza, a sushi/poke bowl restaurant, & Loyola’s campus. The host was very responsive and helpful. We took an Uber to Navy Pier & the Magnificent mile and we took a boat tour on the river. A great weekend stay for the kids to get to experience Chicago life. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property!
