"Our stay here was fantastic. The cottage was clean, spacious, clean, and well equipped. The staff was very attentive, beginning with precise directions to get there and continuing throughout our stay. The hot tub was great and we had a couple clear nights for star gazing. "Holly Cottage is a mix of old and new with plenty of space for 7 adults who went to walk and catch up with each other.The photos don’t quite do it justice. Kitchen is large and has absolutely everything you may need. Heated floor lovely in the winter.The lounge has an easy to light log burner, so make sure you use it.We didn’t move the cars once we arrived, as so many beautiful walks right from the front door.A 2 minute walk to the village pub The Crown, serving really good food and the staff...

"The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."
