Danielles ppty is immaculate & crrative. So many thoughtful touches, such as freshly ground coffee and heatpacks. The place was really warm & comfy, beautiful garden, and location.

Very easy check in process. Incredible and unexpected garden area that’s really nice to spend time in. Home has everything you need including a nice bath. Road noise was very loud at night.

We had a very comfortable stay, within close proximity to the city, supermarkets and other amenities. The house has everything you need and is a very pleasant place to be! The host was very helpful and communicative. Highly recommended.

All the amenities you need
We stayed here before and were thrilled to come back. It is a spacious and comfortable location. We made dinner, did laundry, had a soak in the tub, and even played a few games of lawn chess! Highly recommended.

Charming cottage in a great location
We spent two nights in Fitzgerald Cottage following our arrival in Christchurch and before picking up a camper van to tour the South Island. The home is thoughtfully decorated and full of comforting touches. The gas fireplace quickly dissipated the morning chill. The recently renovated bath is luxurious. It's an easy walk to town centre; public transport is also available literally outside the gate. The owner provides clear and comprehensive instructions regarding arrival, departure and use of all systems. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely house with easy walk to CBD
We stayed over Christmas and were so pleased. It was very comfortable due to the room layout, full kitchen, and lovely deck area. We walked everywhere… Riverside Market, Botanic Garden, cathedral, restaurants, and along the Avon river in both directions. Highly recommend!

A prime city location, and yet so calm and peaceful. With one of Christchurch's top cafe for breakfast a one minute stroll. However, such is the detailing and warmth of this beautiful appointed home, you may not want to leave.

Superb!
From the moment we walked into this stunning house, we fell in love. Beautiful attention to detail throughout. Everything you need is catered for. Fabulous kitchen with everything you need. Bathroom, beautiful, lovely bath with salts provided, wonderful touch to unwind. Bedrooms, spacious and detailed with super comfy bedding. Living/dining relaxing environment and space to unwind. Outdoor areas lovely seating to read a book and we loved the chess game in the backyard. Highly recommend for a wonderful stay in Christchurch in easy distance to city and surrounds. We will definitely be back. Amazing communication with host Danielle.

No regrets
Everything regarding our stay at Ferguson Cottage was without fault. Danielle was most considerate offering early check in to suit our flight arrival. The property is very well equipped, cosy and comfortable. The garden appears to have grown considerably since the original listing and is a well kept delight. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Such a great stay!
We found this 2 bedrooms home delightful for our stay in Christchurch. Very good communication with the host. Access instructions were easy to follow and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful garden in the back yard and lovely seating in the sun just from the lounge. Would highly recommend this place for a stay and hope to be back!

Third stay and still loving it!
This is our third time staying in this house. We absolutely love it. It is super comfortable, private and clean. There are so many excellent finishing touches around the house that make it feel very luxurious. Communication with Danielle has always been seamless. The location is fantastic. So lovely but noisy
The house is gorgeous and warm as toast on a very cold Christchurch weekend. If we had not had to sleep there I would give it 5 stars but the noise from the busy road was relentless until the middle of the night both nights (we were there Fri & Sat so maybe it would be less noisy during the week.) And the main bed needs a more comfortable mattress or topper and new pillows-everything in the house was so comfortable (the underfloor heating, the bathroom, the beautiful carpet) it's a pity the bedding let it down.
