"Repetiría el hotel. Echo en falta un control de temperatura en la habitación y más enchufes a mano, pues tuve que desenchufar la televisión para preparar un té. También eché en falta que en la recepción no tuviesen un adaptador para enchufes. El restaurante muy bueno, fantástico y su bodega más que aceptable."

"Lovely welcoming hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and he was made as welcome as we were which was great. Nice room which was spotlessly clean. Food at the hotel was lovely and there was ample choice. Only one problem that we came across was that we were staying in room 10 and we had trouble on several occasions on getting the door to unlock to get in our room and staff seemed to be aware of the problem. I therefore think that the problem should surely need some...

"Accomodation excellent, cleanliness excellent, well appointed and furnished with 'taste'. Food was excellent and wide choice available, bar and waiting staff were efficient,attentive and personable. My only adverse comment would be the relative positions of the accomodation block(s) and the pub/restaurant, umbrellas are provided for the journey, should it be raining, even during good weather, there are steps to negotiate and you leave a warm building experience outdoor temperatures then enter...

"We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort. Otherwise - would highly recommend! "

"Staff were great and so helpful. We arrived in the early hours but the staff had checked us in and the night porter was there to meet us. Superb service and greatly appreciated. While the hotel is a little dated it was clean and the breakfast was excellent. "

"Highfield house is very close to centre of Skipton. Parking is relatively easy in the area. Our host was available when I called to ask about parking on drive and as she had finished preparing the rooms allowed us to check in then. Very helpful."
