Weekend away
Wonderful location to Sardis lake-right across the street and down a short walkable trail. Host was constantly available by phone, but we really had everything we could need for a nice, quiet weekend. Enjoyed Sardis and Clayton lake while there. We will be back!

Privacy was Exceptional

The owner was very hospitable and helpful. The cabin was so cute and in the most beautiful setting. Had a view of Sardis Lake. Sardis Lake has a wonderful Nature trail very near the cabin. Robbers Cave State Park is just about 40 mins away and had really interesting hiking areas along with lots of activities. Cabin also very near Clayton Lake - also wonderful.

It was more than I’d hoped for. We were looking for a nice quiet getaway in nature. The views were wonderful. So many stars at night. The cabin was very clean and had a perfect “mountain cabin “ feel with great attention to detail on amenities. Host Gary was friendly and very responsive. The VALUE of the experience is excellent.

"Sardis Serenity" became a memorable stay!
As a single mom I have always tried to road-trip with my sons and build memories; this 3-day vacation at Sardis Serenity was amazing: Gary, the owner was cordial and helpful, made us feel at home. The activities we could do in the surrounding areas were a bonus as well! We are definitely going back!

Great little cabin!
My little mini vaca was for a visit with friends camping at Potato Hills. I just needed a nice place to sleep and make coffee in the morning. And it was perfect. But this cabin would be great for a couple or small little family to have a nice getaway from the busy world. (If you are a light sleeper, it might be a good idea to bring a white noise machine to drown out the road noise during the night.)

Nice and clean, easy access, big covered porch for hanging outside, clean windows, view of lake better when leaves are off the trees. Comfortable furniture, nice deco but not over cutesy. On the quiet meter for us (we like silence) the little highway runs in front of the property with an average of 15 cars an hour. Not noisy but you know the cars are there and you are not completely on your own. Town is barely two miles across the damn and there are three or four restaurants, two grocery stores, several gas stations, a library, some banks, hardwear stores, convenience stores and churches. Light cooking can be done with microwave, induction cooker (single hot plate), fridge, coffee maker, small toster oven, even a small portable charcoal grill outdoors. The grounds are very nice, lots of room to walk, swing, run and holler and be safe if you have kids. Didn't meet the host but the house keeper "P" was very helpful and easy to get in touch with all in all a nice little place.

Nicely done! Clean, well laid out and relaxing
Super nice cabin, Great Lake view. Fire pit and little extras made it a really nice stay. The information folder with emergency numbers and places to eat was nice to have. The extras like lawn chairs for kids, corn hole game, and swings were great. I rented this for family out of town. We will definitely be renting again.

We loved it!
The cabin was great, not too weighed down with technology. We hiked up higher on the mountain. The view of the lake from up there was beautiful. We had fires in the fire pit. Caught a few good sized catfish and grilled those for dinner. We went to Robber's Cave in Wilburton and checked out the Choctaw Nation Museum. We had dinner one night from Chuck's Classic Cycles. Very friendly people. They have a bar, restaurant, and motorcycle repair shop and retail store. Great little place. Overall, nice little getaway. Quiet, pitch black nights with stars, and great scenery.
