Great location and house, but dirty.

The house is beautiful and in a great location but it was dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. Cabinets needed to be wiped down from food and fingerprint smears. Floors were unswept and dirty. We had black feet when walking barefoot in the house. The previous cleaning crew left a note that said the dishwasher was not working and leaking water. Freezer was dirty and not wiped out. Couch looked like a dog had slept on it. Carpets were heavily stained. Air vent was caked with thick dust. No kitchen towels provided. The no-touch smart faucet in kitchen sink was annoying. We had to buy our own cleaner, paper towels, and garbage bags as extra were not provided. We washed our sheets the first night to make sure they were clean. The washer/dryer barely work properly. The positives were the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and well located.

Dirty upon arrival-dog hair throughout; however, clean bedrooms and bathrooms.Dishes/cups/silverware needed to be washed.No extra kitchen garbage bags and no ‘bear box’ to put full bags outside safely.Online communication was difficult—seemed computer generated responses which were not answering the questions.The location was great.

Weekend Paddleboard Getaway

Our family came to Suncadia to paddleboard and just hang out together for a few days. The location was great and the house amenities were as described. We had fun playing ping pong and the little arcade game. We used the grill and the fire pit.I’m not sure what happened with the cleaning service though. Check in was delayed because of it, which wasn’t a big deal. But when we arrived, the house did not appear very clean. There was dog hair on the couches, and the carpet seemed very dirty. There was a deodorant cap on the window sill of one of the bedrooms, and a mysterious green stain on one of the bed covers. We still had a very good time, but it would have been nice to arrive at a cleaner house.

Never more disappointed in a rental

This property was incredibly dirty, dog hair on couches, beds, in showers, the hot tub not full, dirty dishes when we arrived. Bedding was worn/pilled. And nearly empty rolls of toilet paper, with no extra rolls. We were told that the first 24 hours of supplies were provided but we should plan to purchase what we needed for the rest of our stay - at Suncadia?! Hugely disappointing. In the end we just started laughing about the endless list of items needing attention. Please do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Nice, quiet getaway

The host was super helpful with answering our questions. The house was in a great location and I clean upon our arrival. We were able to do a late check out, appreciated them, letting us know about this option.

Don't stay here!

Suncadia is amazing but this house was far from that. What we thought we were getting was a great house that we were happy to pay extra for because of the amenities. The fire pit was broken and wasn't able to get fixed until our final day. The hot tub was GROSS, the water was cloudy and wouldn't get warmer than luke warm. This was the biggest disappointment of all.The house was clean, the beds comfy and the game room in the garage were nice. But, if you wany anything more that that...don't stay here.

Weekend with Friends

We had a good stay with friends. There were 4 kids under the age of 6. It was a great place to stay with a small family because it had a kid room with bunks and the garage rec room. We’d stay there again. Appreciated the kid toys, step stool and high chair already there.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house had everything that we needed and was clean and comfortable. Great set up in the bunk bed room for the kids to have a space to hang out.

Great place!

Beautiful and comfortable home nestled in the trees. Does need maintenance on a few door handles that fall off, the front door key pad did not work probably needs battery replaced. All around great place for families!

Never book with VRBO agin

Had to walk 50 feet in 18-24 inches of snow to make it to the front door entrance. Only driveway was plowed. When checking out the layout and found the stairs to the upstairs very dirty. Went to the garage to allow us to bring in personal items and the door knob handle fell off. On further observation we noted dried dog poop on the floor in the great room, dried vomit on the floor in the garage game room, pendant lights above kitchen island covered in dust, a broken garbage disposal which we hand cranked numerous times during our stay, a couch unevenly propped up by a stool as the legs were missing, a broken lamp, a broken microwave handle, a refrigerator that smelled of fish (we cleaned it) upon arrive then an inner portion on the door broke, NO INTERNET OR TV, an electrical outlet in the bunk room (where the kids sleep) with no cover on it. We took one form the kitchen to cover for safety sake, soap dispensers not working, 11 plates for a house that advertises sleeping 14, 5 wine glasses.....and more. On Saturday morning we received a notice from Vacasa/VRBO that we needed to move due to flooding. An agent reported the fire department was in the driveway due to garage flooding which was incorrect. We are expecting a refund.

Beautiful home but not maintained

We enjoyed our three night stay, but would not return unless the house is better maintained. Pros: House layout, furniture, kitchen, outdoor patio are beautiful. Soundsystem, smart TVs, fireplace, bunkroom, garage games worked great. Cons: After marinating various meats for 24 hrs, went to grill and abruptly discovered the propane tank was completely empty and no other tank was on site. Property mgmt said since it was after 5 pm they would drop one off the next day. A propane tank was never dropped off for the rest of our stay. After leaving, I received an email crediting us $100 for the propane inconvenience. All 3 bathrooms ran out of toilet paper. We searched the entire house but there was not a single extra roll anywhere. I understand having to buy paper towels or napkins or even dish soap… but our own toilet paper?? When I alerted property mgmt, they said “we do not provide anything extra after the initial supply of toilet paper in the home.” Even at budget hotels they supply toilet paper for your stay - we were only there 3 nights. This wouldn’t have been that big of a deal except upon arrival the dishwasher was full (not unloaded), multiple dishes and cups had food crusted, almost all the hand soap dispensers were not working, 2 door handles were broken and the hot tub had debris in it. Also a smoke alarm started beeping every 30 sec. Overall, we still had a great time - but unfortunately the home is not well maintained or stocked.

Golf Trip
