"My husband and I spent 9 nights at the Gnome Hill cottage. The cabin is very cute and well equipped. We cooked almost every meal including a couple times on the grill. "This is our 3rd time staying there and the place is centrally located and clean and comfortable. The bath wasn’t draining in 2G and we had this problem on our first stay . There was a noisy guest on the room above us who was very upset and made a lot of noise for hours ( from 4am on ). It was impossible to sleep because it was so loud. Other guests also commented on this on the elevator when we were leaving. Because there is no attendant on duty overnight, there was no one available to attempt...

"I give this 4 stars and not 5 for only a single reason. The description is missing two key points of info. 1. This is a basement for rent and not a full house. People do live just up the stairs. 2. There is not a kitchen if you’re thinking of cooking. Only a mini fridge and a microwave with a small sink. That worked for me for my trip, but was unexpected when we arrived and could have been a planning issue. The owner was responsive and a great guy. Would recommend genuinely for a quiet stay. "
