"We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"Lovely property wonderfully located for everything we wanted to do in our two day break.The property was very clean and modern, cosy and warm. Everything we needed was provided (except, strangely we couldn't find a chopping board). The bed was really comfy and we slept well. The only reason I gave the accuracy of online listing a 4 is that there is no mention I can see online that the bathroom is downstairs. "We stayed at Granary Cottage with our family for my 60th birthday celebrations and it was a great choice! Lovely accommodation that lends itself to four grown-up couples, with a very sociable open-plan living and dining space. The pièce de résistance though is the spa/pool, which is a beautiful facility that made us all feel really quite special. We have happily recommended Granary Cottage to other family friends. "

"We booked this property for a few nights and received exceptional care from Mark the host who was warm, welcoming and accomodating with great suggestions of where we could visit nearby. The value for money is excellent as there are large rooms with all the comforts of a home. "12 of us stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights to see in the new year together, we had the most wonderful time. The house was perfect for all ages, there was something for everyone. We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is a hard task when catering for all ages. We will be back, thank you"

"We had a fantastic time here, albeit a short stay. There was bread and milk in each of the 3 accomodations, which was a lovely suprise. When we had a problem with the electrics (following a storm) we were helped promptly. And the little additions like complimentary slippers and pool towels were lovely. Good selection of equipment and crockery in the kitchen. We’d love to come and stay again."
