My family and I loved this house. It’s very beautiful and comfortable. The only issues we had, that were important to us, is that there was no WiFi (really???), and one very dated flatscreen TV that we couldn’t hook up any of our games or Roku to because it is too old. There wasn’t any cable, or satellite either. Just an old dvd/vhs player with a few meh movies. Since it was so rainy while we were there, it was a bummer for the kids that they couldn’t play their games or watch anything worthwhile. These days, it’s pretty unacceptable to be lacking WiFi. Since my husband had to work remotely he had to go buy a portable WiFi tower so that he could work at the house. An unnecessary expense, if you ask me. We have never stayed in a rental that lacked WiFi.
Also, since the house is pretty much in town, you get a lot of street noise, and the bells ringing at the school across the street.
Other than that, this house is very nice and comfortable. Oh, and it’s right next door to a creepy, 125 year old house that was pretty neat.
If you’re ok with no WiFi and very little entertainment other than card games, then I really do recommend this house.
