"We had a great stay at The Osborne hotel for New Year’s Eve, the location was perfect on the beach & a short (taxi ride) into town for dinner. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly & breakfast was good. The inside pool area was a little tired but I understand they were due to close for two months for some painting/refurb works. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. "My daughter and I went to visit family and have to say this was the best hotel by far that we have stayed in whilst in Torquay. (we have used many over the years) They had thought of everything and the attention to detail was superb. I am Gluten Free, the breakfast area had GF bread and cereal well away from any cross contamination with a dedicated toaster just for GF bread. Will definitely stay again in the future. "
