"This was my first solo venture following my husband's unexpected death and I chose Jim Thorpe because we've visited together in the past and I knew I would feel comfortable both in the town and in the property. "My family enjoyed a long weekend, taking advantage of the pond for swimming and boating, the walk to the nearby waterfall, and the fire pit for some evening smores. Major Tom was helpful and, as others noted, brought us fresh eggs and was available if anything came up. We all had a wonderful time. Minor mark down on cleanliness because there were mouse droppings on the pans kept in the lower shelves of the kitchen, as wells as a large pile of droppings--presumably more than a couple days...

"The cabin was beautifully decorated with outdoors charm and is the perfect place to enjoy this area. I appreciated that so many amenities were included, it was clean and well maintained. Only a couple minor issues. The Keurig machine did not work. I was going to bring my own coffee maker but saw there was a Keurig in the listing so I brought k-cups. "I stayed at the Glen Onoko Guesthouse for a long weekend and it was perfect! The house was so clean and well appointed. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we could have needed.
