Crabtree is the most relaxing, quiet, carefree, and beautifully situated property that we have ever visited. The sea right outside your back patio is also the most beautiful we have ever seen (and this includes Barbados, Jamaica, Antigua and St. Lucia.
Our beautiful apartment (Unit #2 - the middle unit) had EVERYTHING. Eggs, bread, butter, juice, water, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, lots of spices, lots of dishware and pots/pans, utensils, microwave, insect repellent, sunscreen, a variety of books and DVDs, lots of soft fluffy towels, extra bed linens, etc.
Also a lovingly assembled binder with LOTS of helpful information about the island thoughtfully indexed and labeled.
Constant breezes flow through the unit, front to back. We never even touched the AC units in the bedrooms, there was no need. The outside patio is wonderfully appointed with lots of comfortable seating options, a plastic tub full of water toys, a clothesline, candles, etc.
You could not be closer to the sea; with all its lovely colors.
We stayed in the middle unit and it was QUIET, even though we had neighbors on both sides. Extremely well lit outside on your patio, and security lights on the corners of the building.
The road (Close Haul Rd) is very, very quiet; maybe one car every hour or so. The salina across the street has lovely varieties of birds which will calm you. We enjoyed sitting on the steps or on the wall in the morning as the sun rose.
And of course magnificent sunsets every evening over the sea.
The extras (clean, modern washer and dryer), well maintained bicycles, clean trash receptacle, etc. are all thoughtfully provided and extremely convenient.
The owners, property management, and maintenance are all superb and respond immediately to any questions or concerns.
You will want for nothing...except to never leave!
We cannot thank Jessalyn, Kelvin, Tom and Leslie Jones, and cleaning lady that prepared our unit so well for creating such a peaceful and beautiful retreat that we definitely needed after the "interesting" last two years.
And...without a doubt...felt safer in Turks and Caicos than in the States in regard to Covid. Masks enforced at the airport, required in all stores and restaurants until seated. Hand sanitizers as you enter any shop which you are respectfully invited to use.
If you want to enjoy the peace and beauty of Grand Turk, Crabtree will exceed your expectations.
Thank you so much again.
