Relaxing Getaway

My daughter and I loved the tiny cottage! It was perfect for the two of us and close to the beach and downtown area. One note, the address can be easy to miss, providing landmarks is helpful.

Enjoyable Stay in Tiny Cottage

Tiny Cottage, south of Cocoa Beach's downtown and the Kennedy Space Center and north of Turkey Creek Preserve and St. Sebastian Preserve State Park, is perfectly located for exploration of the Space Coast. We would stay there again for a similar trip. An easy walk to beautiful Tables Beach and a space to store our kayak trailer added to the convenience. It took a little trial and error to figure out the AC options, but we worked it out by the second night and slept pretty comfortably all three nights we stayed there. We arrived at night and missed a light of some kind on the entrance for the rental, but we found our way eventually. The deck was cozy. We didn't use the kitchen except to make coffee. To mention a few local restaurants, we enjoyed dinner at Jazzy’s Mainely Lobster and Seafood, two great breakfasts at Simply Delicious Café & Bakery, lunch at Cryderman’s Barbecue (in Cocoa Village), and Irish music and whiskey flights at Nolan’s Irish Pub. Attending the once-a-year Kennedy Under the Stars was a relaxed way to see the sights at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center. We had a wonderful kayak trip down Turkey Creek in the middle of our trip and unexpectedly caught sight of a rocket launch at the end of a hike in St. Sebastian Preserve a few hours after we'd checked out from Tiny Cottage.

Beautiful and quiet.

This place was adorable and perfect for what we were looking for. We were able to catch the sunrise each morning with a short walk across the street. The area of beach across the street was never busy, and there is a surf shop half a block away. We will be coming back.

3 night stau

Tiny Cottage suited us as we only stayed there in the evenings, after visiting family. It is a little dated, but the only real priblem we had was a breaker popping causing the fridge and an airconditioner to fail.

The cottage was a great place to get in cocoa beach, the beach is walking distance and the dock is amazing, at night you can see fishes that lights up. Your right next to Patrick Air Force, so you’ll hear the national anthem, which is so beautiful and a great experience. Publix just 10 minutes away. It’s feels like a tiny home but it has everything you need, yes this house is old but it’s gives it character and it’s beautiful. If you ever come to coca check this place out. Me and my friend had a great time, safe quite and alor to do. Thank you for the experience.

Okay

I absolutely loved the dock out back! My son and I caught a few fish! The bathtub was a little frightening. It was old and didn't look like it had been cleaned. There was soap residue on the ledge, no caulking between spout and wall. The rug outside the tub was dirty. All and all it was okay.

A bit disappointing

Property is very dated and in need of upgrades. AC units so loud had to turn off at night to sleep. Location is across busy A1A and near public access but crammed between two larger condos. Best part was dock out back overlooking Indian River. May be appealing to surfers just looking for place to crash but not the cozy bungalow we had hoped.

Was not happy with the condition.

It was not what I expected for the price. Lot of work needed to be done the kitchen sink was not attached , the bathtub was not in good condition , tiles were cracked and had been patched with lamps not have lightbulbs that work ceiling fan did not have a chain to be able to use the fan. The walls were not in the best condition either. I’m glad that I was only there for a short time

Cute vacation spot

Cute little cottage, however be aware it does get a bit hot inside. Like another reviewer said, we just kept all the doors closed and the bedroom became the cold room. The beach access was about a 15 minute walk from the cottage. Note: there is not a sidewalk from the cottage that goes all the way to the access. That being said, the beach was wonderful and since it is a little further down from the tourist area it was a lot less crowded. The area was also a very quiet neighborhood. All around it was an awesome little vacation spot.

A nice getaway!

We enjoyed staying at the property. It was quiet and the area on the beach was nice. There were nice restaurants in the area and it didn't seem over crowded. I do think the cleaning fees are way too much as I don't think a lot of time is spent cleaning. I am not saying it is dirty I just feel it didn't meet the standard of what was advertised. For example my wife started to put something on top of the refrigerator and saw that it was very dirty so she changed her mind. At least one smoke detector was out and the kitchen faucet was loose. There was a bit of a musty smell but perhaps that is from the humidity around the water. Although a little noisy the air conditioners did keep the unit cool. We did enjoy our time in the area.

Perfect one night getaway

My husband and I stayed here for one night and had a wonderful time. It's his birthday and our anniversary so we just wanted to get out for a night, away from the kids, and just enjoy each other. This place is perfect for that. The bed is comfortable. The bedroom is hot during the day but it's best to just close both of the doors to keep all the cool air in and it's great once it's bed time. The beach is a quick, less than 5 min walk across A1A. The area is very safe. There are many non chain restaurants to choose from. We went to Jazzy's Mainely Lobster and had a fantastic dinner!! Seriously the best we've had in a long time. All in all this is a great place and in great area!
