Stayed at this clean, comfortable and modern decorated property to visit our WSU student for homecoming weekend. The location (above one of the many antique stores in Colfax) and the steep narrow stairs leading to the unit off the street made me a little leery. But once you enter the unit, it’s a whole new world! Beautifully remodeled with modern appliances and fixtures. Because of the location above the store, there are only windows in a back bedroom and sliding doors to the deck which unfortunately had a couple dead pigeons on the deck. Beds were the comfiest beds my family and I have slept on with clean linens and soft comforters with no odor or artificial scent. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and properly stocked, with the exception of a dingy sponge at kitchen sink, which we just replaced, and the 1/3 full hand soap in the bathroom. Scott quickly responded when we had questions about heating the unit. Large streaming TV was great for watching Netflix or YouTube but did not carry major network TV and we were unable to watch big college football games or local news. The floors are a bit uneven and the couple of steps leading up into the master bedroom are a bit tricky if navigating out of in the evening to go the kitchen or bathroom. Parking on street right in front of the unit during the day, but have to move car to a side street at night. Grocery store, latte stand and several restaurants are within walking distance. Would stay again!
