Family getaway
We stopped here for a couple nights on our way to Florida. The property was just as described. Had some rainy weather while we were here, so loved the pool table and great selection of board games. Short walk to park, downtown, shops and restaurants. Had everything we needed. Very cute, clean and cozy.

3 night Thanksgiving Stay
We renting this carriage house apartment for seven (7) adults who were spending Thanksgiving with family who lived nearby. There were no other rentals for our size of group and we depended on the sofabed and the fold out twin in the downstairs game room to accommodate us as it was advertised to sleep seven (7). Not only was the downstairs space unheated (it was 30 degrees outside), but the sofabed was unbearable. The owner graciously responded to our issues by quickly delivering a brand new Coleman blow up mattress with extra blankets. I would recommend this place for groups of four (4) or less during the winter. The living area and kitchen upstairs is comfortable for four as well.

The property was very cute and comfy. It was so relaxing. It felt like going to your favorite grand parent's house without the dated feel. We would highly recomment a stay there.

Excellent “stop over”
This property was as described - if you like bar games and board games, this is definitely the place! The host allowed our extra large older dogs an Elsa 94 pounds and Tobin 188 pounds. We had a great meal at the dog friendly Buck and Board in Columbia. This property is merely 1 1/2 blocks from the park, where dogs are welcome! We would definitely stay again!

Cute place
Very cute place, alittle tight but cute. Could use alittle updating downstairs with the open ventilation. We killed a couple of spiders downstairs and Im pretty sure they came from the ceiling being unfinished. Even so I eould stay again.

Perfect Gem in the heart of Muletown
10/10 stay! So close to downtown Columbia, perfect retro vibe. Our family loved it! Would 100% recommend. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the aggressive dogs next door. Obviously, not the owner's fault but man those dogs seem vicious and bark at all hours. Other than that....perfect!

Great place very close to the square and parks
This is a great house with everything needed for a long weekend. We enjoyed the close walk to parks, restaurants and shops in Columbia square. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Will be back for sure!

Great spot to explore Columbia!
Our second stay at Muletown’s retreat. We find this place to be clean and comfortable and the location is perfect…just a short walk to town. We will likely be back! Thank you for another great stay.

Super Cute!
Super cute property. Love the decor very comfortable beds. Great location to walk to Columbus Square. One sidenote, iwe brought our puppies and the house directly behind this property has four or five large aggressive dogs that are out all night. If you’re bringing your dog and they are skittish, just be aware. This is no reflection on the owner and completely out of her control. I just thought it was worth mentioning.

The place was clean and cute. Easy to walk to the square. Great shopping. Pretty river nearby. Love how it was dog friendly- made it easier to travel. Pool table is a nice touch. You also had me at the Ferris Bueller and Sugar Gang Hill quotes on the wall. 😆

Cozy and Clean
Good space! This place is very cozy and clean! All the little amenities made the difference! The beds were comfortable and the rec room had a very nostalgic feel, very fun hang space! Awesome location, very close to downtown and nearby park for walking! We did not use the outdoor space due to weather and it being muddy. There is not an ideal space for pets outside especially with the neighbors dogs, but again, park is waking distance! Great stay and very kind owner!
