"We stayed for a couples weekend and didn't have the best weather, but we all still had a great time. The main level is very nice, the basement is older but would have been fine for hanging out if needed. Not sure I would have been comfortable sleeping down there,but in my youth I would not have cared. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Saddlery! The 2 bedroom suite was beautiful with plenty of room to relax. The building has a lovely exterior deck to sit and enjoy the view of Lake Monona. The location is great- a short walk to the capitol and its surrounding attractions. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated that it was pet friendly. The view of the river from the living room is wonderful. We were disappointed that the back yard and dock were unusable due to heavy rains causing the river to flood the yard but realize this was beyond the control of the home owner. Host communication was very good. We would stay again!"

"I come to this lake all the time as my parents have a home on the lake. This cute little place was perfect for myself and my sister to stay during a weeklong family vacation. It had everything we needed and just a walk across the street to our families house. Despite the unseasonable cold and rainy weather it was a relaxing peaceful stay here! I would rent again here."

"We traveled to Wisconsin for the 1st time to visit our newly relocated son and wife. We had a wonderful place to hang out and relax. Our hosts made us feel welcomed. They even had real flowers on our dinner table. We didnt get to enjoy the beautiful back yard, because it rained so much the weekend of our stay. Everything was beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely try and return to this spot when we come to visit. My only advice for the owners is to retake their demo pictures. We found this...

"Overall this property was ok. Our biggest complaints are that after multiple messages, texts & phone calls, we never were able to get a hold of the property manager. We had questions throughout our stay, and a jacket was accidentally left by one of our kids & we cannot get a hold of anyone to try & recover it. This is disappointing! We even called VRBO customer service w to attempt to reach them & they were no help at all either. Second, there are ZERO window coverings, even in the bedrooms....

"I organized a bachelorette getaway weekend for 5 of us and we had an amazing time. Kimberley was so generous and accommodating from the get go. Anytime I texted her to ask a question, she responded immediately. And she even offered for us to check out late since no one else was booked after us. "Kelly has created a real treasure with her attention to every mid-century detail. Absolutely spectacular home with its original components and eclectic decorating. "We really loved the location on the east side of Watertown. A beautiful setting right on the river. Wonderful mature trees. Nicely landscaped with all kinds of flowers. The huge patio is great for relaxing on the nice patio furniture. The accommodations are great. Very comfortable bed. MJ and Andy were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back many times in the future."
