Property was superb!! Peaceful, wooded location by the lake; impeccably clean; and thorough check-in/check-out instructions. We had a group of 10 and there was ample space for everyone with large kitchen and gathering spaces upstairs and downstairs. Hosts were fantastic, too, and were easily accessible for questions.

Relaxing girls weekend
Beautiful location for a relaxing weekend with friends! This home, with it's amazing view of the lake, is just what our group needed. We used the hot tube everyday and enjoyed group meals at the large table in the dinning room. The beds were very comfortable for our over 50 year old bodies :-) We had a wonderful evening out at the County Line bar & grill which was only about 3.5 miles away. The only thing I would suggest is less plug in air fresheners. The one downstairs was overwhelming. Our group highly recommends this home!!

Wonderful Weekend
What a peaceful place. It was perfect for our group of 8 adults celebrating two 40th birthdays! We loved everything, but especially the beautiful property, the kitchen, the hot tub, and the fireplace. The owners were responsive and everything was as advertised in the listing. No unwelcome surprises. We hope to come back for a summer stay and we might even invite our kids this time! ;-)

A Lodge With A Lot Of Love
This is a really ideal spot for a group of friends or a couple of families. It's a beautiful cabin/home that you can tell is cared for: nice appliances, great layout, plenty of space. And that's not to mention the hot tub and all the amenities. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful Retreat
My group of friends and I tend to try and find cabins in the woods for board gaming in nice quiet environments. This place delivered and then some! In true Midwest fashion, the first day we were there it was 80° and 30° and snowing when we left 4 days later. The cabin had lots of space for people to spread out and relax. The hottub had a great view of the lake, and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again!

Clean, quiet and adventure-ready house!
Our group loves this property! This was our second year here and we're planning to return again next year. We have a group of 8 adults and the house is large enough that we can all have our own space if we want, and then all gather together at the large kitchen table for games and meals. There's a large patio table on the deck and a hot tub that we also enjoy on chilly fall evenings. Everything about the house is pleasant: the decorations are cute and minimal, the appliances are up to date, the kitchen has everything needed for cooking, eating and clean-up and, best of all, there's a book with house instructions that are well-written and complete with photo descriptions. The area is very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the fall colors. We've never used the kayaks or canoe, but all the equipment and life jackets are provided in case you want to. The only potential issue may be accessibility for people with limited mobility. There's just one step up leading into the front door, or a few steps if you're coming in from the garage. Once you're in the house there are bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen and a large living room all on the main floor. The lake access is down a hill and would be difficult for someone with limited mobility, but the lake is visible from the deck through the trees in the fall and winter. The host is responsive, communicates clearly and is nice to work with. We appreciate being welcome to enjoy the beautiful home and property.

We loved The Lodge
We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. It was fantastic to be able to rent the pontoon and go fishing and cruising on both parts of Pipe lake. The kitchen is fantastic (and big), we prepared a steak dinner for 8 people and had the whole crew doing some piece of cooking and cleaning and then we all relaxed on the deck after dinner to hear the loons. Even a full rainy day was enjoyable as we played games and enjoyed each other’s company in the large gathering spaces. Looking forward to a return trip!

The lake house was very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed for a large family group! Having a portable crib and high chair on site meant fewer things to pack. The lake was clear and pristine and great for swimming off the dock and lily pad. We hope to come back some day!

My grandchildren named this vacation The House In The Woods. Everyone had a wonderful time fishing, kayaking, going for walks, etc. Our Host was most accommodating with all of my many questions and requests. Can't say thank you enough for everything.

Beautiful family getaway
We had a week long family vacation at this beautiful cabin. Check in was a breeze. There was 11 in our group and we plenty of space to to hang out as a group or get some privacy and quite time when needed. We rented the pontoon boat for the week and it was just the right size. It was so convenient to take off from our person dock. Many hours were spent kayaking, fishing, and boating on the lake. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and grilling out. We did have some concerns with our big group that we would run out of room in the water/sewer tank but with a little thoughtfulness it was never a problem. We loved the piano and have a couple of excellent players in the family which made for some great entertainment. The screened in porch came in handy on the rainy days. It was the perfect place to curl up and read a book. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

It was cozy + Welcoming So wonderful to have living/gathering spaces upstairs + downstairs Views were wonderful! We loved sitting by the windows in the big comfy chairs having coffee in the morning watching the world wake up Loved access to pontoon boat + kayaks The lake is quiet + serene We enjoyed fishing off the dock + spotting deer + eagles while gliding around the lake. It was so great having multiple options for outdoor seating on the multi level deck as well as by the fire pit Screened in porch was great for getting outside time without needing bug spray Having access to a well stocked laundry room (as well as bathrooms) was so helpful when traveling with little ones Plenty of parking for our three vehicles The kitchen was big, pretty + so accommodating for cooking for big groups while the rest of the family played board games at the dining table We helped ourselves to many of the games + books during our stay It made disconnecting from our phones + connecting with one another so easy Our hosts were welcoming & very responsive to our inquiries

Winter Refresh!
Beautiful property that feels like home the minute you arrive. We spent hours in the hot tub catching up and playing games at the large kitchen table. Kitchen is fully stocked to make great meals. Took some wonderful winter walks with the family and got great fresh air. The stars at night are amazing!

Property owners were excellent with communication. Property itself is gorgeous. Hot tub was so much fun! Kitchen stove is a dream to cook on. Loved playing piano. Double sided fireplace was a hit with whole group. Also had three separate bathrooms. Property sits in the perfect spot for days trips!
