Perfect for a family holiday
We were a group of 6 adults & 6 children ( aged 7 to 15) This property had everything on offer for a comfortable holiday. The kitchen was well equipped with sufficient crockery & glasswear for 12 people & even had plentiful supplies of tea, coffee, cleaning products & rubbish bags. It slept 10 comfortably, but the sofa bed on which we'd planned to sleep 2 of the smaller children (as requested in the property details) was very open to kitchen & loungeroom noise so we had to use our blow up beds (thankfully a last minute packing choice) in other bedrooms. We had 2 dogs with us that slept downstairs with their family. They had trouble negotiating the polished stairs to go up to, or go down from the main living area of the house. It's easy enough to walk them via the outside of the house, but there's still concrete stairs to climb. The games room was a real hit with all family members. The pool & table tennis tables both saw a lot of fun challenges played. The location is great...just across the road from the beach where the kids swam or paddle boarded & the dogs were able to be walked & or played with other doggie friends. There is a handy little shop (The Corlette Store) where you can buy good fish & chips, hamburgers etc. as well as milk & other basics. Would recommend for a family holiday.

Relaxing break away
We were close to everything we needed in Port Stephens. Walk to dog beach, at the house we had a pool table, ping pong table, darts, fishing rods, bikes, various areas to relax and read. We didn’t use everything that the house had to offer as we did get out and about to enjoy the sun and area. A few stairs in and outside the house, be mindful if you have less mobile people (or dogs) when looking to book. 45min leisurely walk to the marina (with a few hills!), our little Jack Russell was exhausted by the time we got back, coming back was easier. Definitely recommend to book. Would have enjoyed updated tv’s to be able to watch Streaming services, we found that the only one able to do this was in the garage.

The accomodation has an absolutely gorgeous view, is right next to the beach and is a short distance from the shops. Thank you to the owners for being so accomodating - everything was beautifully prepared when we entered and all the facilities are as advertised.

Fantastic house in a great spot
We really enjoyed our family stay over the Christmas period. The house was huge and easily fit 7 adults, 4 kids and a baby. Lovely water views from the huge balcony and the swimming spot in front of the house is calm and perfect for little ones and water sports. The house had a games room the kids and adults loved and a large well equipped kitchen. A couple of negative points is the fold out lounge is not comfortable at all and not suitable for an adult. There was no hair dryer in the house and neighbors on both sides warned us to keep the noise down. Also no baby facilities, the house wanted to charge us extra money to hire a cot (which was fine) but then another charge for a high chair which we felt was a lot on top of what we had already paid. Regardless we would still love to go back. It was a great spot.

Bagnalls Beach stay
House had water views and was opposite cycleway -we could cycle all the way into Nelson Bay. House is very spacious with large outdoor deck and very comfortable beds. Had a few issues with the stove taking ages to heat up, and they could do with more wine glasses, but otherwise Ok. It’s in a beautiful spot with lots of walking and cycling at your door.

A great winter break
We spent a great few days at Beachside Haven in the middle of July. It's a really comfortable house, well set up, with a good layout and plenty of room for our group of seven. The views to the beach were lovely and it's an easy to drive to Nelson Bay town centre and some excellent beaches.

Peaceful week on the Bay
Lovely setting. The house is gorgeous and well thought out. Everything was available and working and clean. Mattresses are excellent. Fridge is family sized. The kids have their own lounge TV DVD area. The outdoor area gets beautiful evening sunlight. Lots of bathrooms for a big family. BBQ has large gas supply. Ceiling fans are quiet and all working. Excellent job. Thank you. Really a great stay ;)

Perfect for small groups and families
The house is in the perfect location - right across the road from the beach and a park. There's a great walk that goes all the way to the marina alongside the beach through the trees. We had a fantastic stay - the house is nice and big with plenty of room and amenities.
