Listing is exactly as described. It was very quiet and relaxing. Only thing I didn’t like were the downstairs beds were old and uncomfortable. The upstairs bed was better but still not great. Overall very nice!

The home is really nice. We had a lot of fun, between tubing on the river, nearby ATV riding, the gorge and waterfalls, dinner in Helen and a wide variety of games at night.Saralyn and Mark are super nice and helpful. We had a great time and I highly recommend their place!

The location is great, close to restaurants and activities. Beds are super comfy. The view of the river is spectacular, but we felt the river access was overstated. It was very muddy.There was some offensive reading material on the bookshelves (Liberal F*csism). We felt the water smelled less artisanal and more like it could benefit from a whole-house filtration system. The basement shower was just a trickle and therefore unusable for showers. Also, the firewood was wet and unusable - maybe cover it with a tarp or something.

We had the best time! Everything we needed to live in this awesome river retreat was on hand from kitchen appliances, glassware, fluffy towels, comfortable beds and board games! The river view was beautiful and there are abundant opportunities for fun in the water. We brought our own tubes and a blow up kayak. We did enjoy some nearby attractions - hiked to a local waterfall, tubing in Helen and the Georgia Mountain Coaster. It was a wonderful long weekend away from home.

Charming Stay in the River

Such a charming stay on the river! We swam and fished in the river each day…if you have some rope and a big rock, you can tie up and just chill in your tube! To be fair, the adirondeck chairs pictured in the main photo aren’t there so that was a slight disappointment…but the rest was A. Plenty of games and room, love the fireflies at night. We even had a baby and Mommy deer outside our window one evening! Such a fun stay in a beautiful neighborhood. Thanks for having us!

Family Fun

The kids loved the game room and stayed entertained for hours. We checked out Helen, climbed hundreds of steps at Tullalah gorge with breathtaking views. The house had everything we needed and was super comfortable.

Everything was wonderful and as advertised. Clean and comfortable. There was a storm that knocked out power but the hosts came over as soon as it was safe to show us how to work the inverter and generator. Fantastic stay.

Home away from home

This property was amazing!! The location is great; far enough from the city but still close enough to have things to do if you want to get out of the house. The downstairs area has so many fun games for a calm night in, and upstairs they have some great movies! The owners truly thought of everything with this property! We traveled with a baby and they had a great pack and play, high chair, and stroller! The kitchen is fully equipped with all you could ever think of. We travel to this area frequently and I think we found a new go-to place to stay! The owners are also super kind and helpful if you have any questions!

Great spot for rest and relaxation

Loved the location, deck and kitchen has all needed supplies. Could have used basement game room if perfume air purifier wasn’t so strong. Loved the fire pit! Thank you for the great trip!

Exceeded our Expectations

We loved our stay at this spacious and beautiful property. Fun quality time with our family with so much to do. Fire pit, river in the back, down stairs family/game area and so much more. We will most definitely keep this property in mind for our next Family Adventure

Peaceful getaway!

We booked this place for our anniversary weekend trip. The house is tucked in a peaceful and relaxing setting right on the river. Plenty of space with everything you need for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful view and charming cabin

The location is great and backyard view is wonderful. Has everything you need to have a nice escape for a few days. We didn’t catch any fish but not for lack of trying! The inside is charming and pretty vintage furniture but not the most comfortable couch and would’ve loved some tvs in guest rooms for the children, but overall we had a great stay and can’t beat for the price. Would love to return in the summer to tube/float down the river! Thanks for having us!

Great place

It’s was a wonderful place to stay. Wish it had not rained prior to us coming because the river was flowing so fast we couldn’t fish. But overall it was a great place to just relax.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a wonderful family getaway at this cozy cabin. Everything felt like home and we had a great time reconnecting as a family playing games and going for local hikes. Definitely recommend this cabin if you are looking to make some great memories.
