Unsafe, disasterous experience!
My life was placed in danger. What a nightmare!. The host was 4 hrs late picking me up, it was already dark. I was taken by way of a small fishing boat to the vessel I had reserved through your organization and dropped off. It was Pitch black, no electricity, no water, no dingy or way to get back to the island. The windows were all busted out. There were no blankets or anything with which to cover up. It got down to 40° overnight and rained. This was not at all the boat I reserved. Come to find out there is a group of nine boats that have been hijacked after Hurricane Ian and I was in one of them. The next morning when I called Brittany bull, my host, she had disconnected her phone. I had no way of contacting anyone. Thank goodness, I knew someone in the area. After returning to shore, I went to the local police department in Cortez. They were well aware of Brittany bull, the Sailor Park and the scam that's been going on for quite some time. There were already open investigations on the books. I filed charges as this should never happen to anyone let alone a 63-year-old Nana! Shame on you VRBO! You have been informed about this for quite some time, and just let it continue to happen. Very sad! Of course I follow your instructions and contacted your help center immediately. They were absolutely no help and in fact we're quite rude. Acted like that was just no big deal at all. The great products my case was filed with the Manatee County Sheriff's Department as they are in charge of all waterways I have copied that document and sent it to you in an ongoing email with the help center.
