Holiday in Cortona
The villa was exceptional, and the owners provided a very comprehensive guide to the area, places to visit, restaurant recommendations, road trips which significantly enhanced the holiday with local knowledge. The owners also provided us with a customised list of running routes knowing my wife is a keen runner - they couldn't have been more helpful. The villa is adjacent to a small vinyard run by a friendly family - they made us feel very welcome to the area and arranged an impromptu wine-tasting. If you want to visit this area of Tuscany, it is an ideal location with far reaching views, a relaxing outside space and a well-maintained pool with plenty of seating areas to find the shade. The farmhouse itself feels more like a home than a holiday let, ideal for a relaxing holiday with all the home comforts you could want.

Tuscany in its purest form
Booking and communication were flawless. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, with a nice big private property, this is the place. The pool is perfect for the typical Tuscan warm summer days. Beautiful view of Cortona and is only a few minutes from the city. Tons of great restaurants within only a few minutes drive. The perfect place to get away from your daily stress.

Our vacation in Tuscany 2024
We had a great stay in the house near Cortana. The house is large and offers everything you need for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The location is very quiet as the house is in the middle of nature, surrounded by vineyards. You also have a great view of the city of Cortana. There are no neighbors nearby. The outdoor area of the house is very large and spacious. The pool is sufficiently large and in very good condition.

Wonderful Tuscan Paradise
We enjoyed a week in this wonderful villa/farmhouse as part of our summer tour of Italy. It’s a simply stunning place to stay, with open plan living and bedrooms all on one floor with en-suite bathrooms and additional utility room with toilet downstairs. The whole place is private and accessed from a farm track meaning there is virtually no passing traffic and the only noise is nature and birdsong! The garden and pool are delightful and just what we needed after days out exploring the region. Lovely sunbeds and super clean. The area is very peaceful and a car is required to get around to explore. Nearby Cortona is a fantastic hilltop historical town with amazing views and great nightlife absolutely worth a visit day and night. Lake Trasimeno is also a wonderful place to visit around 30 minutes drive and the towns on the lakeside offer a wonderful sunset drink or daytime beach location. We also enjoyed days out in Florence Siena and Arezzo and slightly further a field to Gubbio and Rome. The information provided by Paul and Heather is outstanding and the communication is the best we’ve had in any rental. We will absolutely be back in the future.

Voyage en Toscane
Super séjour entre amis dans cette batisse historique et ce magnifique jardin. Amoureux de grands espaces vous serez comblés. Grâce au Guide de Paul et Heather, (70 pages) nous avons pu explorer la Toscane grâce à leurs bons conseils et profiter de la piscine pour recharger les batteries. We recently spent two weeks in this property and would recommend it highly both as a comfortable and well-equipped home from home and as an excellent base for exploring this beautiful region of Italy. The owner Paul provided first class information and assistance when required - the guide to local places of interest, restaurants and other practical information was particularly helpful. Took (early morning) trips to Castiglione del Lago, Montepulciano, Siena, San Gimingnano and Florence, with a very welcome cooling dip in the pool at the end of each day. The villa is on the doorstep of Cortona - a pleasure to spend a few evenings there enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and lovely food. Don’t hesitate if you’re thinking of booking this property, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfekt
Ein wirklich schönes umgebautes Feriendomizil mit einer tollen Lage. Man bewohnt vom Haus die obere Etage mit sehr großen Zimmern. Von der kleinen Terrasse vor dem Eingangsbereich, ebenfalls mit viel Sitzgelegenheiten, hat man einen tollen Blick auf Cortona. Das Anwesen ist super groß und hat einen gepflegten, eingezäunten Garten mit einen tollen Pool. Rundherum sind nur Felder und Weinberge und es ist herrlich ruhig. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man erhält vorab wirklich viele nützliche Tipps durch die selbst erstellte ausführliche Broschüre. Tipps und Anregungen rund um Cortona und zu dem Haus. Echt klasse. Wir hatten eine tolle Urlaubswoche in Casale Sant'Agata. Vielen Dank an Paul und Heather

Absolut empfehlenswert!!
Wenn man etwas Abgeschiedenheit aushält, absolut empfehlenswert! Wir lieben es so abseits vom Trubel und haben die letzten 10 Tage uneingeschränkt genossen! Das alte Steinhaus ohne direkte Nachbarn ist umgeben von Feldern und nur über eine unbefestigte Straße erreichbar. Es wurde mit Liebe zum Detail renoviert - der Wohnbereich im oberen Stockwerk besticht durch tollen Ausblick in alle Richtungen, den Charme hoher Räume mit sichtbaren Dachbalken und sehr gemütliche Einrichtung! Ein ganz besonderes Paradies war für uns (und unsere Kinder) der riesige Garten mit viel Baumschatten, die überdachte Terrasse mit den gemütlichen Sofas und natürlich der kleine Pool, umgeben von vielen wunderschön blühenden Pflanzen (zumindest jetzt im Juni haben sie geblüht:-)).. - eine richtige Oase in der toskanischen Hitze!! :-) Alles in allem wirklich großartig, wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben - bei der Abreise mussten wir Kindertränen trocknen! ;-)

Urlaub in der Toskana
Lage des Hauses sehr idyllisch. Das Haus war sauber und es war alles wie im Inserat beschrieben. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Kommunikation mit dem Hausbesitzer. Schon im Vorfeld bekommt man eine sehr ausführliche Broschüre mit Erklärungen zum Haus und Tips für Ausflüge etc. Und auch während des Aufenthalts wird jede Frage sofort, ausführlich und sehr freundlich beantwortet. Das Haus kann uneingeschränkt weiterempfohlen werden.

Excellent accommodation and great hosts
This an elegant old Tuscan villa with all the modern amenities. If you want a great place to relax (with drinks by the pool) and use a base to explore the beautiful surroundings (Cortona, Siena, Florence etc) - this is the place to be. Our hosts, Paul and Heather, were very helpful throughout the stay, helping us find great activities in the neighboring localities and it was, overall, truly a great experience to stay at their place.

Sehr schönes Landhaus
Das Haus lag in einer sehr ruhigen und idyllischen Lage ( direkt an einem Weinberg). Das Grundstück war sehr groß und bot viel Platz für die Spiele der Kinder. Der Pool war das Highlight. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Das Haus selber war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, eben typisch toskanisch. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Lovely home in a perfect setting!
Both the inside and outside of this “home away” captured the beauty of the Tuscany region! The house was very well appointed and beautifully decorated throughout. Loved the living room fireplace and the outdoor barbecue/ covered patio. The beautiful kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, attractive and comfortable furniture. We loved it and hated to leave. Stunning views out of the windows! Convenient to many Tuscan towns and scenic/historic/popular destinations. Loved coming home to this house after a long day sight seeing. Our hosts were incredibly hospitable and gracious. They made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and special! Perfetto! Would love to come back!

Fantastic
We've just come back from 2 weeks in this property. It was fantastic, absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for nightlife and a rowdy time then this wont be for you. If you're looking for peace and quiet, a relaxing time, a child friendly pool and an authentic Italian experience then you should look no further. This property is located 10/15 minutes drive from Carmucia/Cortona which has everything you need in the way of food and provisions, there's even a train line to Rome/Florence. The property is in a rural location but you can walk around 15 minutes to a restaurant/bar/local shops if you wanted. It's well located for visits to Florence/Sienna/Cortonna/San Gimignano/Lake Trasemino. The villa is very well appointed with a fantastic outdoor BBQ, shaded area in which to sit and relax. The beds were comfortable, we all slept very very well. The kitchen has everything you need if you prefer to cook. I'd recommend you take some mozzy spray if you go to this area though, all the tourists were walking about with distinctly spotty legs !!! Last but not least, the communication from the owner, from start to finish, was fantastic. They could not have been any more helpful. A big thanks to them.

Tuscan Dream
We recently stayed at this beautiful property for a week, which was not long enough. Everything about it oozed Tuscan charm and character. It is so peaceful and tranquil, the ideal spot to chill out. We were not in a postition to hire a car but managed quite well by using local taxis but would recoment anyone coming to stay to have a vehicle. The whole experience was wonderful from first booking, all the help received from Paul and Heather and the local agent who was on hand to answer and deal with any queries. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and indeed hope to return soon.

Tuscan Paradise
Absolutely gorgeous villa in an incredibly beautiful setting. Comfortable interior (a home away from home), lovely big garden, fantastic pool (every day was a pool day, even till 8pm!), gorgeous scenery (Cortona in the distance, vineyards behind). We had a truly wonderful holiday. Usually towards the end of our holidays, we look forward to coming home, but the day before we left we all said we could have done with at least another week (or forever to be honest). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was modern and well equipped, the local CoOp was only 15 minutes drive away. We were all in need of a chilled out holiday and we managed to have that and much more. Marialena (our contact whilst staying in Italy) checked we had settled in and was quick to respond to any queries. We relaxed by the pool, in the pool, in the villa (during the really hot hours) and visited friends in Montepulciano. There is so much to see within a short drive of the villa, its location is convenient for everything. It's also so peaceful. A true delight. We can't recommend this villa highly enough... although that works against us as we're planning on returning and don't want the competition for available dates! :)

A fabulous home in a perfect setting!
As a family of four we had a wonderful stay here and can honestly say we would recommend this home to anyone. We loved the position - so close to Cortona (a delightful place to visit in the daytime and evening), closer still to all the local amenities you could possibly need and also a great spot for visiting historic places of interest such as Siena (definitely worth a visit). However we also loved the fact it was so private - surrounded by vineyards and cycle routes which we made good use of. Of course we have to mention the pool which we all enjoyed thoroughly and made good use of every day and the outside seating area which has been so well designed. In short, if we could own a place in Italy this would be our ideal place. Thank you for a fantastic stay! It goes without saying we would love to return!

Beautiful farmhouse in Southern Tuscany
We are spent a wonderful week as Casale Sant Agata in this beautiful restored farmhouse. It has a terrific pool, which we used daily (given the heatwave) and also a gazebo that we used for lunch and dinner/evenings. The house itself has 3 rooms and a large central living room. All the rooms are very large and it was perfect for a family. We have 3 kids (9 to 16 yrs old) and they loved it. The location is on a country road surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vines, near to a local village (with some shops/restaurants). There is a nearby town (camucia) with a supermarket and then the wonderful town of Cortona is about 15 mins away. We would recommend this house for families who are interested in enjoying the local area and having a great house to base themselves in. The house has loads of character and mixes old and modern really well. We loved it. Paul was very helpful from our first enquiry to the end of our visit. The house has everything you need, including plenty of local guides/information on things to do.

Tuscan dream
Well all I can say about this property is it was superb and was everything and more that we hoped it would be. The property was quite and the views stunning, picture book Tuscany. Camucia had everything you needed for your day to day requirements and Cortonia is beautiful and full of history. We took the train from the station which is just 10 minutes drive away into beautiful Florence and had a fantastic day. This house is amazing, fully equipped has beautiful gardens and pool for relaxing. The owners supplied comprehensive instructions for getting to the property and of all the things in the area we might need. All in all excellent property and the owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Hoping to return.

Fantastic villa!
What a gorgeous house! Equipped with everything and such a high standard internally, nicest house we have stayed in for a holiday. We picked a week with extremely hot weather for the time of year, so air con would've be a bonus but thank god for the fans that were there! We had a very lazy, relaxing week. The guide that the owners leave at the house is very comprehensive and informative. The owners have thought of everything including a portable speaker, hairdriers (decent ones too), board games, books etc... I would definitely recommend the property and return to visit again!
