The house was nice, but badly needs repairs. The small bathroom floor is in pieces the main bathroom shower/bath is not installed properly and holds water along the sides.

We so enjoy the extraordinarily views, peace, and ease we feel while at this property we have stayed three times...so far! Clean. Excellent communication with property managers. Great location. Only complaint was the coffe pot was to too small for us coffee lovers!

Great location
What a view! And with the changing tides, the view actually changes throughout the day, which is so fun. The access to the beach just out the door was so nice. We brought a paddle board and could go out on the water as we pleased. Came across the coffee bar at Captain whidbey’s next door and could walk along the beach to go grab breakfast to go. The house itself was just fine. No bells and whistles, but clean.

So peaceful! Romantic waterside cabin
A great getaway place to relax in privacy, and watch the light change on the waters of Penn Cove. We loved the stunning views, big deck, and exploring the mussel shoals. Great espresso within walking distance at the neighboring Inn. We hope to be back soon and bring our kayaks.

Nice location, but pay attention to photos
Loved the deck on the water, the beds were fine and place charming with nice art. Cooking in the kitchen was a little challenging with a mish-mash of cookware (as if left over from rummage sale) but we did enjoy cooking our own shellfish and eating in the nice setting. Be cautious of the jetted tub without grab bars and a strange floor, not safe for the non-agile. Would stay again

Quaint Property
Nice, quiet property located right on the water. It has more of a cabin feel. It was cold, especially in the main bedroom & bathroom. The wall heaters just couldn't keep up in February. No hot water in the other bathroom sink. But great view right out the windows. We enjoyed waking up to hearing the lapping water and the gorgeous sunrise.

Spectacular views
The best part of this property is the location & the amazing views. It is located directly waterfront on Penn Cove. The house is a little older, but it is still very comfortable and has everything you need for a great vacation. We loved all of the local art displayed throughout the house. We truly enjoyed watching the wildlife playing in the water and seeing the eagles flying over. Unfortunately, there is a problem with mice in the kitchen & little bathroom areas. Renters, be sure and put all food/trash in containers that mice can't eat their way thru. Suggestions to the owner: Screen over the chimney openings. We were woken 2 mornings to birds trapped in the fireplace. Also consider silencing the chimes in the front room wall clock, which chime randomly all night.

Comfortable Cabin
The rustic cabin on the beach was very relaxing with beautiful views. Beds were comfortable. It's a very rustic cabin, but nice. One shower is very small, but okay. The larger shower in the main room includes a jet tub, so kind of an unusual combination, but okay. The bedding and towels were good. Wasn't sure if the dishwasher was operable due to some comments made online, so we hand washed everything. The washing machine smelled sour, so It needs a good cleaning. Easy to operate the door for entry. The porch lights switch was difficult to find, but eventually we located it hidden behind the accordion door next to the washer and dryer. Instructions on how to use the sound system would be nice. We would have liked using the sound system but couldn't figure it out. It was a good stay.
