"The kids got to swim, jump off a floating platform, kayak & canoe, fish, roast marshmallows by the fire, and help me grill dinner. If any of these is your goal then this is a fantastic place to do it. There's also rentals for boats and jetskis nearby. The swim area is shaded starting in the afternoon. Property also included paddles for the kayaks/canoe as well as the requisite life jackets you'd need to go out. It's shared space, but we didn't have a problem finding a kayak or sharing the fire...

"We had such a lovely stay! The house was beautiful and clean and everything was easy to navigate. Jennifer was so responsive and helpful with questions and recommendations. She was very accommodating with a specific concern we had and made the check in process very easy.Freeport was the perfect location to explore Portland and Peaks Island while serving as a nearby home base with plenty to do closer by as well! I would 100% stay here again and recommend to others in a heartbeat!"

"The property was clean well maintained except for an old rug on the floor. The sink in the kitchen leaked when used and had to leave a towel around it or the water would pool behind it. The unit could have used a long mirror in the closet. The shower was awesome. The Murphy bed was efficient, but not much support on the back. Thanks"

"The place is described perfectly and is walking distance to almost anywhere you want to go. There's a great craft brewery around the corner with amazing food and drinks. We had no problem getting street parking and spoke with the owner who was very nice and gave us some recommendations of places to eat."
