"We loved our stay at the “lake house”! It was a perfect location and offered us the ability to enjoy the quiet lake but also close enough to get into town and Lake Michigan. The kitchen was beautifully updated and had a gorgeous view of the lake from the big windows. My kids loved fishing off the dock and finding little turtles. We will definitely be back again! "

"My friends and I had a lovely stay! The house was great, and the pool and amenities were top-notch. Keith, the owner, was a little difficult to get in contact with, but his son was around the property and was able to help. Overall, we had an amazing weekend. "The cottage was really cute and clean. Short drive to a beautiful beach. The location was perfect for exploring St. Joseph and South Haven. The owner was very quick to answer questions and very friendly. Some of the reviews mentioned the shower being small but to me it was a cottage shower that served it's purpose I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again. "

"This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin is rustic but it is clean and had the basics we needed for a weekend getaway. It did the trick in helping us unwind from the hubbub of life and get back to experiencing the simple things in life. "If you have a large family and want to do a quick weekend vacation this house is amazing. The pool was perfect for the kids and even us adults getting to sit on the deck. The host was so great with responses when I had a question. Aside from running short on towels this house was perfect with so much more sleeping areas and fun lofts to sleep in for the kids. Would highly recommend and would stay again!"

"I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. The house is a few minutes away from the beach. It is a duplex, but we never had an issue with the neighbors. The only bathroom is on the top level and up a flight of steep steps. It may not good for elderly people or people...
