"We loved the location out of town for the Lake House (although it’s a very winding road after 2 days on the road) Our Golden Doodle felt right at home with front & back doggy doors, too! The diversity of areas to sit and chat or watch tv were great. We enjoyed the fire pit on our second night. We would love to go back and stay longer to more enjoy the area. "

"Wonderful property on Watts-Barr lake with a dock. 3rd year in a row coming down for Labor Day with friends. The dock is awesome for swimming with kiddos and keeping the boat. The boat ramp is only 10 minutes away. The water slide from the top level is thrilling for sure! The house was clean and stocked generously with cookware and dishes. Great views of the sunset and wildlife abound. Definitely on our list of places to come back to. "

Had some power flickers, guessing this is because of utilities work in the area, vut wasn't sure. Power never stayed completely off, was onlh off for a couple seconds each time. Driveway is very steep and loose gravel doesn't help. Better marking at the driveway would be nice to locate the property, pretty much guessed it was it by the looks. "Overall it was a good trip. The location was a little further out from town than we liked. 15 minutes to a DG and 25-30 minutes to fast food. We were running a lot for our stay, so this made it a little inconvenient. The marina restaurant was closed for the season. If you were staying at the lake and cooking, it would work better.
