"My wife and I were up for a 5 day fishing trip. The property was as described on a very private, quiet lot with a nice dock. There is a nice back deck view of the lake and a covered patio in the front. We really enjoyed our stay and would definately return/recommend."

"The location is beyond words. Truly beautiful and relaxing. We loved bird watching including a daily visit by a chatty eagle. Absolutely amazing. We explored Crane lake and caught enough walleyes and bass for a fish dinner at the cabin. The eagle enjoyed the fish remains right off the end of the dock. I highly recommend Loon Landing."

"Went to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We have been to Elbow Lake several times and knew what to expect. The cabin is "no frills" but that is part of the experience. It is right on the lakeshore with a deck literally a few feet from the water. The lake is quiet with very few boats making it easy to hear the frequent loon calls. It's a good kayak / canoe lake with a beautiful sand beach in front of the lodge for swimming. The on-site manger and his family are there for whatever you need....

"John and Carol are wonderful hosts. It really reminds me of going up for family vacations in the 80's and 90's. Very laid back and helpful if any questions or needs arise. Beautiful Lodge and grounds. Great access to boat slips and great boat launch. Our cabin (daybreak) was literally right over the water. Woke up to waves lapping every morning. Lots for the kids to do and fishing is bar none"

"I came with my parents, my 9yrs old son, and our dog. The experience was peaceful and the place beautiful! The property is amazing, clean, comfortable and beautiful. "This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. The day of my stay I had to message for directions to the cabin. Directions were not sufficient and I had no cell service. I ended up paddling to the cabin (to the “left of the dock” as I was told). It was raining and I couldn’t find the key that was supposed to be under the steps of the deck. "This cabin is in a beautiful location. The cabin was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The view of the lake and the abundant wildlife was just what we were hoping for. The night sky is indescribable. I would recommend this cabin as a number one choice if you plan on staying in this area. Jamey was easy to talk with, readily available to answer questions and provided a lot of information on where to eat and who to contact for boat tours."

"There were 3 of us, and we had a great time, great weather, and enjoyed the time on Lake Vermilion. The cabin was very clean. Only suggestions are to let guests know that they have access to the dock; and the Wifi info in the messages/emails was incorrect, but we figured it out. I would recommend this cabin/location on Lake Vermilion to others."

"What a great property to relax and enjoy beautiful Lake Kabatogama. Large deck overlooking the lake with windows that provide a scenic view all day long. Amazing! We were able to leave 2 out of our 3 boats at the dock throughout our stay. We used the local campground to overnight the 3rd boat."
