"We have had a great October break. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Ideal location to walk the coast into Brid and back (land train optional). Short distance to Filey. Scarborough - where our children enjoyed Peasholm Park feeding the squirrels. Hosts also provided Sewerby Hall entrance tickets. A great week had by all. 😊 xx"

"Overall a good stay. Needs a bit of TLC to the paintwork. Bathroom is quite small but adequate, & bedroom space was small ie bed against the wall. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows if wanted in wardrobe. Great communication & easy mobile entry via email "

"We had a fantastic time in Sues converted barn. Sue had arranged a perfect welcome with brownies and a starter package with toast, jam and marmelade, milk and butter. "I booked this hotel as I was attending a funeral nearby. The manager and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are simply furnished, but clean and comfortable. I noticed that some of the rooms were being updated while we were there. I had the Sunday lunch (Steak pie and veg) which was excellent and plenty of it too. The breakfast is of the continental style with no limit on what one ate and bottomless tea and coffee. We had to be out of the room by 11am....
