Absolutely excellent experience! They are incredibly easy to work with and the property was perfect. Great gathering spaces but offers you your personal space away from the group. We utilized the meeting room and could event present to the group.

We had a great stay at the venue. Great atmosphere and beautiful property. Hot-tub and fire pit cost extra is my only complaint seems like it should be included for what we paid. Overall was the right property for our event!

Great wedding venue !
The staff was amazing, very responsive and helpful throughout the process. The property was so beautiful that we were able to bring very minimal decorations to complete our vision. They took care of every little detail down to a custom door code with our wedding date and personalized name plates on each cabin. Our family and friends were blown away by all of the amenities at the property for all ages and they all had a wonderful weekend. Gathering Oaks is the perfect place for an intimate gathering for any event!

Perfect location for our family reunion!
We rented out the whole property for a family reunion/birthday party and it was the perfect place for our large family! Each room was beautiful and we loved having so much space. Everyone at Gathering Oaks was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for the weekend. Can't recommend enough!!

Family Getaway
Had a wonderful time!! We were a family of 60 so we rented the whole property. There was plenty to do for everyone. The only complaint we had was the pool side and floors were rough so almost everyone that swam had something scrapped, but maybe it was because it was brand new. Overall a great place to get together, especially if you have a big group:)

The Perfect Gathering Place
We rented this facility to host a reunion of former football players from a 1984 state finalist team. Although I researched and reviewed countless rentals across the state this facility was selected because of the private rooms and suites that could be offered to each couple or family. In addition to private rooms we were also looking for a place to "gather" so we could have family style meals and watch old football videos but not be crowded into a small area. This venue has the perfect place! The main house, called the Gathering House, was perfect for all of our meals so we never had to leave the facility. It had a large kitchen area with an adjacent dining area that had plenty of seating for all 30 of our guests and the living room area was able to accommodate a large number of guys glued to videos from the glory days. In addition to inside time, we also spent time outside enjoying the the beautiful landscape, the swimming pool, or playing the numerous outdoor games available in the beautiful courtyard area. There is also a large fire pit and smaller individual fire tables throughout the facility that we used at night. I stayed in the master bedroom of the main house, but I visited each suite, cottage and tiny house at the facility before our guests arrived. Wow! Each room was perfectly decorated and appointed to meet the needs of all our guests. Words and pictures alone cannot begin to describe the beauty and serenity this venue offers. We are planning to have this reunion in 2024 and several of the guests commented that they would love to come back to this same facility. Although there are lots of things to see and do in the Waco area, none of the guests ventured off the property because they loved everything this property had to offer. Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful property with us so we could make some wonderful memories.

Truly a Texas Gem!
The Gathering Oaks was a perfect place to celebrate a 60th birthday. Our guests were from all parts of the U.S. and most flew into Dallas and drove here. It was an easy drive and very easy to find off Hwy 6. We rented the Gathering House and the two bedroom cottage. The hosts thought of every accommodation with a coffee bar as well as a regular bar with a small refrigerator for cold drinks. The rooms are spacious and spread out nicely so everyone had privacy yet easy access to where we held the celebratory events in the Gathering House. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. Pans, baking sheets, dishes, glasses, silverware, a blender so we didn't need to bring anything. The views from the kitchen window had cows meandering out in the pasture as well as a very famous homestead beyond the pasture. The evening weather was perfect for sitting outside near a relaxing waterfall feature with lights twinkling from the trees. What a wonderful way to end the day! We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an event for a large gathering.

A beautiful property! Awesome place for families to gather!
What an amazing few days our family was able to enjoy at this peaceful and relaxing retreat. We were a large group,10, coming in from different states to experience our first Baylor Homecoming. We were able to enjoy the many homecoming activities and then return to a home that made us feel at home! The home was immaculate and had a great open floor plan for us to congregate. This is a terrific property for a family to come together and make great memories! You will not be disappointed!!!
