Fabulous Gîte!!
Amazing gîte, everything you need for a relaxing and stress free holiday. Super peaceful location and the pool is an especially welcome escape from the heat. Despite being attached to the owners residence we barely knew they were there! Overall, one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in, well thought out, comfy beds, great hosts and super location and views We had one of our best family holidays at Gîte Hauteloup!

First family holiday in 6 years
Large property with the amenities to ensure everyone had their own space and things to do. Whilst off of the tourist track it’s a lovely place to wind down and not feel the urge to rush around trying to see everything.

Lovely stay was relaxed until I got back to email from owner
I couldn’t fault Gite apart from garden furniture being tired and warped. As long as you know its attached to the Owners and them sharing the large garden with 4 big dogs. (Sadly we had missed that bit…) But we made best of it and had a lovely relaxing time until last day of the holiday when I was just about to go in the pool they had put the hose to fill the pool up and the robot vacuum in at 1-4pm on day before we left (why??) Worse bit we got home to a text from owner to say that she was ‘disappointed in state of the kitchen and it took ages to clean’ we had wiped with products provided and tidied kitchen fully we had left a few bits of nice goodies for the next holiday makers (beer, eggs, part baked bread etc) but we asked owner beforehand and she said yes as was was even going to give the sweet potatoes to her poorly dog. This has TOTALLY spoiled our holiday experience. We have never had comments like this from owners previously. But we shouldn’t have been surprised as all we heard were complaints about the previous the booking leaving it disguising with wine spilt everywhere etc etc. It is such a sad ending to what was a lovely holiday.

Relaxing Comfortable stay
Large and modern property, with lots of space to live in, front and back terraces, two reception rooms, and kitchen with all the cooking utensils you could need. Very clean throughout. Very peaceful location, but still well situated for touring around the region. Karen and Tim couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable, and helped us with directions and opening times for places to visit. Thanks for a relaxing holiday.

A really great Gite hosted by really nice people
We have stayed in this Gite during the week after Easter (we were really lucky with the weather). This Gite offers everything you could wish for - really nice hosts, lots of space, bedrooms with their own bath, a pool, a giant garden, a fully equipped modern kitchen, a TV set with surround sound & Netflix - you name it - it's there. The Gite is located in a very quiet location, so if you want to escape the loudness and noise of a city, you are in the very best place. The only sounds you may hear are cows, goats and sometimes barking dogs - that's it. We really enjoyed our stay and we can highly recommend this Gite. Karen and Tim are really lovely and they will make sure you will enjoy your stay too!

Amazing place !
We really enjoyed Gite Hauteloup. They made sure to provide all the necessities and more. The communication with the host was also very easy. One of the main benefits was our two dogs, that were welcomed with love and really enjoyed the large grounds. Would recommend highly!

Zeer fijn ontvangst van gastvrouw en gastheer Karen en Tim. Gastvrij voor ons als familie net als voor onze hond. Een zeer propere accommodatie met veel oog voor detail en authenticiteit voorzien van alles wat een mens, die op zoek is naar ontspanning en rust, maar kan wensen. Séjour au calme
Très belle résidence, rénovée avec goût ! Un lieu de calme et de tranquillité pour se ressourcer. Les hôtes sont attentionnés et disponibles au besoin. Grand jardin ouvert à l’avant, un jardin clos à l’arrière, piscine, vélo… tout est là pour passer un agréable sejour.

A beautiful house with an amazing view
We had an amazing holiday at the Gite Hauteloup! The house is beautifully furnished and very well equiped. You can find everything you need and the kitchen is fantastic! We were also nicely surprised with a lovely welcome package! The garden and the pool are very inviting and the place is so peaceful one can really unwind and relax. Karen and Tim are lovely hosts and put a lot of love in the Gite Hauteloup! We would definitely go back! Our kids also enjoyed the goats and the dogs:) And also worth mentioning is the great wifi in the house and even outside! Thanks for everything!

Sehr schönes Haus in ländlicher Umgebung
Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Der englische Vermieter wohnt mit 3 großen Hunden nebenan. Für deutsche Mieter: Es gibt keinen einzigen deutschen Fernsehsender und im Haus sind leider Unmengen von Fliegen, die auch mit Fliegenklatsche nicht weniger werden. Der Pool ist recht flach ( Wasser bis zum Bauch) und die Randfliesen sind sehr locker.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette propriété. Elle est relativement isolée sans être trop loin (en voiture) des villages si besoin. Les propriétaires habitent dans le même domaine mais étaient très discrets. Le gite étant sur une colline, il possède une superbe vue sur la vallée. L'intérieur est équipé de tout le confort moderne et est très propre.

Excellente prestation
Nous avons passé 2 excellentes semaines de vacances au domaine de Hautloup. La maison est très belle et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Les propriétaires sont très agréable et vraiment discret. Un panier d'accueil etait prévu avec tout ce qu'il fallait pour le petit-déjeuner. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Authentiek verbouwde schuur met prachtig uitzicht.
Perfect onthaal door Karen en Tim, en er was bij aankomst een super welkomstpakket. Vriendelijke eigenaars die heel behulpzaam zijn en erg discreet. De ideale plek om tot rust te komen. De omgeving is rustig en er is een prachtig uitzicht. De zomerwarmte was goed te verdragen dankzij het zwembad. Veel comfort en perfect geëquipeerde woning.

L’Eden pour nous et notre chien
Retiré à la campagne, au calme, nos hôtes anglais ont le sens du recevoir avec des prestations hors du commun. La décoration est soignée et raffinée, la maison est fonctionnelle, il ne manque rien. A notre arrivée, ils ont prévu de quoi dîner à l'improviste. Ils sont d’une discrétion remarquable et de bon conseil. Nos compagnons à quatre pattes ont un environnement de rêve et sont les bienvenus. C’est un endroit où nous reviendrons sans nul doute. Eric

Lovely house and wonderful hosts
Great holiday cottage for families or couples in quiet rural area with loads to do in the vicinity such as wine tasting, horse riding, walking, nice restaurants, and also a couple of theme parks for the kids. The house is extremely well equiped and also perfectly adapted if you bring dogs. Our dog loved playing with the resident Weimeraners. The pool is super and especilally for our children a marvelous asset. On arrival there was a great welcome pack with croissants, milk etc Everything had been tought of. It was delightful to stay here and the hosts are extremely helpful and kind. Many thanks to Karen and Tim for charing there lovely spot in Burgundy!

Sehr schönes gite, traumhafte Lage
Wunderschönes Haus mit pool, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr viel Platz, sehr nette Vermieter, haben willkommensgeschenk im Kühlschrank vorgefunden, unsere Hunde bekamen selbstgemachte hundekuchen, leider wussten wir nicht dass noch 4 Katzen da waren, unser hund hat eine angegriffen, was nicht gut war. Die hunde der Vermieter sind sehr lieb, wollte eigentlich 5 Sterne vergeben bei sauberkeit und lage ging leider nie 5 Sterne zu vergeben, hat fewo nicht angenommen. Komisch.

Excellent dog friendly holiday.
Spent a great week at Hauteloop gite. Karen and Tim were perfect hosts. The accommodation was superb. The standard is excellent and very well furnished. Our two daughters especially loved the pool. We took our dog way for the first time this year and were a little apprehensive how well it would go. We needn't have worried. Hauteloop is the perfect dog friendly place. Loads of space and everything has been thought of. We would definately recommend! Thanks!
