Amazing House for a Big Family
It was absolutely amazing! My family of 18 people spent Christmas in Creste Butte. Teresa was so kind and made sure that everything was wonderful for us. My communication with her was great. She answered any questions that anyone in my family had. Eric, the property manager, was really nice and so helpful with anything we needed. He even towed my brothers vehicle when he got stuck in the snow. The location is great! You feel secluded but you are actually just outside of Creste Butte. The house is amazing. It has everything you need in the kitchen and lots of toys for the kids to play with. We could not have picked a better house to spend our Christmas!

This was a very good property, the houses are gorgeous and super comfortable and clean. It did not lack one thing. Kitchen well equipped and stocked with spices etc. we watched movies, played pool, skied and sledded. Awesome trip and property. The hosts were were very helpful and gracious as was property manager

The perfect mountain home!
We booked this beautiful home about 10 months prior to our small elopement style wedding. It provided the most beautiful views of Mt Crested Butte which made for some EPIC photos. The whole experience was magical and the house had so much to offer each and every guest. From the hot tub, to the gym, steam room, oxygen machine, theater room, and the most perfect outdoor fire pit, this home had it all. We were wanting a space for our closest family and friends to gather for our intimate wedding and we couldn't have chose a more perfect place. It had an elegant cabin feel that wrapped everyone up in it's mountain charm. We even were able to say our vows on the property under the vibrant yellow aspens during peak foliage weekend! We are so grateful for Ian & Teresa for sharing their home and everyone else who helped make our stay so memorable.

Stunning Mountain Views & Ultimate Privacy
Our stay at this VRBO for a week with family and friends to celebrate our wedding was truly unforgettable. The house exceeded all expectations, offering stunning, panoramic views of Crested Butte Mountain from multiple rooms throughout the property. Its combination of beauty and functionality made it perfect for our event—we used everything from the theater room to the pool table room, the hot tub, and the fire pit. Despite being just minutes from the main street in Crested Butte, the house felt secluded, quiet, and completely private. We've stayed at many VRBOs collectively, and this one was hands down our favorite.

Greatest Vacation Home
We were very fortunate to be able to spend a week in this beautiful home. The main house plus the newly finished Guest house provided plenty of room for our extended family. The house exceeded all expectations from the description on the website. The owners were extremely communicative from day 1 and went out of their way to help us prepare and make the most out of this gorgeous property. The property manager was equally available and responsive to any questions. Several of our family actually walked to town. The house allowed us to host some friends over on 2 nights and it made an absolutely great place to entertain. We have been coming to Crestview for 10 years or more and have stayed in a number of different beautiful homes..... This property was #1

Incredible home and hospitality
We had an absolutely incredible stay at the big mine property. Theresa was so helpful from start to finish and her property manager Eric was friendly and prompt in responding to any questions that came up! We had an absolute dream 5 days here with family playing pickleball and dancing in the disco room! We were so sad to leave!! 100% recommend for lifetime memories! This is a very special place.

Magnificent house and property in Crested Butte
We had a small wedding celebration on the property with family and friends. About 15 people stayed at the house, enjoying a fully equipped and spectacular house. So much to do! The trails and views around town were great but you could just stay on the property and enjoy so many amenities from pool to board games to a media room to outside fire pit and hot tub! What a kitchen too! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it’s a perfect place for an outside wedding with Crested Butte MountIn in the background. Theresa, the property owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. So considerate! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Ski Getaway
This was our first visit to Crested Butte and we absolutely loved the skiing. The home was perfect…beautiful inside and spacious for a big group. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a five star experience with a big group.

This is without a doubt the nicest property my friends and family have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It almost makes it hard to believe because the pictures don't even do it justice!!! Easy 10min walk to town makes it super nice when you finally pry yourself away from the pool table and hot tub :)

Fun at Big Mine Crested Butte
This property worked out great for our family of 9. We really appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom. The hot tub and media room were lots of fun. The Host, Property Manager and Owner were helpful answering any questions we had. It’s a beautiful property with amazing views from all windows.

Great Property and Customer Friendly Owners
We had 15 people stay at the house for my daughters wedding on October 9th. The location and views can’t be described or fully appreciated in the pictures. You have to see it for yourself. The house was exactly as advertised with extras like the O2 machine, hot tub that was always ready for use, the wood burning gas fireplaces, sound system, and an occasional visit from a family of mule deer and a few foxes. The house had a gas grill and a big green egg. We smoked a nice pork shoulder on the green egg. The house was stocked with everything that was necessary including food staples so we didn’t have to go immediately to get groceries. Finally, the owners were very gracious, flexible, and responsive. This is a great venue for any occasion!!

Spectacular Home & Hospitality
Our 5 star experience really started far before our stay. Theresa’s made herself available to answer any of our questions, and she even connected us with her “A Team” of property managers who were also extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Once it came time for our stay, we received the same level of communication and help from Eric. As for the house itself- we had 14 of our friends stay with us. It worked out really well- each couple had their own room with an insane view. Each room had its own private bathroom which is a huge benefit. We didn’t quite fill the bunk room. It was comfortable for 4 adults but would’ve been tight if we had more. Would be a perfect room to fill with kiddos though! The living space and disco room were perfect for pasta night with the group. We enjoyed a night cap and s’mores outside as we sat around the fire pit and star gazed. Outside of the stay itself, we had a small intimate wedding here. We honestly feel like it had the best 360 views in town and that we hit the jackpot. Our guests were blown away. Spacing was perfect as we set chairs up overlooking crested butte mountain and utilized the lower garden area for an intimate cocktail hour. We are so happy with our experience. This home will always hold a special place in our hearts!!

Absolutely wonderful!
The home is beautiful and has everything you’d want and more! It’s walking distance to town and to a trailhead. We enjoyed gorgeous views from every window! Our little ones had fun playing the game tables (Ping pong, air hockey and fuse ball), all of us played pickle ball on the new court and had a dress up dance party in the disco room with lights and fun music. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

This was one of our favorite stays in CB! The views are unbeatable, location is super close to town and the house is perfect! plenty of room, great amenities, and the pickle ball court was a hit! Amazing house and property
We had a fabulous stay! The house met all expectations and exceeded many. The kitchen was very well stocked and had lots of spices and oils etc to use. The property is gorgeous and we loved the outside firepit! Communication with the owner and property manager was fantastic and they were very helpful answering questions about Crested Butte as well. Ultimate relaxing getaway
We were beyond impressed with our stay the home & property were stunning! This rental exceeded our expectations! My husband & I rented this home for our wedding vacation, we stayed a week with family! It was perfect for a small intimate gathering! Private & quiet! We walked to the pond, enjoy time around the fire & the hot tub was key! I was so impressed by all the comfort’s & amenities! The kitchen was perfect for entertaining! There was minor construction work going on during our stay, it was slightly distracting & loud. We did mention it to the owner & caretaker they did help to wrap it up as soon as they could. All & all, wow! What a place!
