"Everything was great, good price. The only thing I didn't like is that the lake was just for looking at, It's very shallow and I took a stick to test what kind of bottom it was and right off the dock it went down about 3 feet of muck. If you don't plan on going in the water it's a GREAT place."

"The second stay was just as enjoyable as the first one. The quintessential cabin in the woods, just like a cabin should be in my opinion, hence 5 stars. Clean, super quiet and dark at night for a good rest in a good bed. Perfect location (for me at least) area explorations. A great host, too, to boot. Will definitely be back. "

"This place is truly something special! We loved falling asleep the gentle lull of the waves in the harbor. The boat and harbor house were well maintained and had a charming, nostalgic vibe. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and walking the harbor wall. "This was our second time staying and we loved it. The spider problem was gone which was a huge relief and much appreciated. There were minor issues that didnt bother us but want to be sure you are aware: Microwave handle broken, lower level bathroom toilet seat was broken (we fixed it) balcony off loft bedroom was very dirty with a mound of dirt and unwashed table. As I said, it didnt bother us but if I were an owner, I would want to know. we hope we can visit again! Thank you for sharing...

"The cabin was what we expected: clean, charming decorations, kitchen had supplies for cooking and cleaning: dishes, utensils, soap, salt & pepper, coffee, drinking water and water for washing. Also had plastic cutlery and styrofoam plates. The outhouse wasn’t that bad. Nice, secluded fire pit area with grates, roasting sticks and a tripod for outdoor cooking. Lawn chairs in the shed (outhouse.) Right off the highway but feels like you’re in the woods. "

"The most beautiful house in a private location surrounded by trees and water. Who could ask for more. The configuration of the house was perfect for our family with 10 adults and 2 kids. 8 bedrooms with 7 1/2 baths and 6 of those bedrooms with king beds. Absolutely amazing. And very well stocked. We had an awesome 5 days there. Thank you so much!!"
