"Have lots of previous stays at the bay to compare to, and with such similarities between many of the properties it’s the small differences that stand out, here the log burner , helpful welcome pack, central location and daylight via patio doors and Juliette balcony make the difference . "A great holiday home in a perfect central location. Bigger than expected which was a nice surprise with a gorgeous bathroom. Warm & cosy with plenty of hot water for baths & showers. Lots of original features and a secret little outside hideaway sun trap at the back perfect for a morning cuppa. "The apartment was very well fitted out, the staff were lovely very helpful, it is a little far from town and took us a while to find the local supermarket, maybe some instructions on how to work the job and parking was an issue, we went out for the day and had to park quite a walk away, but on the whole we loved it and were very comfortable 😊"

"The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."
