"We all enjoyed our stay for our Dad's 70th Birthday. The pool was used constantly! The house was very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had. My only gripe, which didn't detract from the stay at all, would be plastic cups for the pool area and maybe some pictures and ornaments throughout the house to make it feel more homely. Thank you...

"We had an amazing sunny week in Gardenstown. Sunnyside House has a fabulous view over the village and out to sea. The sunsets are stunning! The house itself is clean, well decorated and and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The locals I met on my daily morning stroll around the village and along the beach were lovely and friendly. We loved Portsoy and Cullen and had some lovely beach and cliff top walks."

"Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist noch viel schöner, als die Bilder vermuten lassen. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und haben eine angenehme Größe. Besonders gemütlich sind das Wohnzimmer und das Esszimmer, welches an die perfekt ausgestattete Küche angrenzt. Unserem Sohn hat besonders die große Wanne gefallen:) Die Kommunikation war super, Doug hat stets schnell geantwortet. Wir würden uns freuen, wiederzukommen. "

"We had such a wonderful stay! The house is so beautiful and cozy we immediately felt so at home, and the property was stunning, with beautiful fields and sheep and an incredible view all the way to the sea from the hot tub. Was a perfect home base for exploring some of the beaches and trails of the area."

"The cottage is excellent. It is really well appointed and spacious. Garden is lovely and the dogs loved exploring the stream - sorry for the barking! Location is great for the coast, with some really beautiful beaches within a short drive. Overall, we loved the stay and would definitely return."

"I received a warm welcome from the host and he could not do enough to make me welcome at the cottage. The cottage, as per the listing, is secluded and was ideal for my short break. If it is quiet and downtime you require then I recommend this property. "

"Friendly welcome and Dougie the owner couldn’t be more helpful. We arrived wet and frozen on bicycles cycling NE 250 and didn’t expect much but whole place is amazing. Accommodation is clean and has everything one needs for comfortable stay. Big bonus is games room. One of THE BEST places we have stayed."

"Was an incredible stay. We were the only guests as it was the off season and we felt so looked after. There was a lovely man working the mornings (didn’t catch his name but he was absolutely beautiful) who did everything he could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! Great location for daytrips along the coast, good amenities and amazing food! We’ll definitely be staying again"
