Quaint 70’s cottage
Owner was very easy and helpful with all communication and questions. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable as my husband and I both have bad backs. Really neat upstairs had four twin beds and it was a nice quiet place if you just wanted to chill by yourself or read a book. Great Waterview and Union boat ramp to launch your boat close by. We loved this place!

Friends Summer Trip
We loved everything about the 70's cottage. The view was breathtaking. The outdoor shower was refreshing. The outdoor patio is where it is at. We made so many memories and we are looking forward to our next trip to Lake Martin❤️

Great Location, Sweet Cottage
The view from the 70's Kottage simply can't be beat - it was beautiful and was at a great location on the lake! The dock was so convenient for our boat, and Shellee was so accommodating helping us figure out where to park our boat trailer. Our entire family had a great time! The upstairs bunk room was perfect for our five young kids, who loved sleeping up there, especially with their own television! And the mattresses in the downstairs bedrooms were beyond comfortable - we slept like a dream. We loved our time and can't wait to come back!

Nostalgia Meets Comfort
As a Gen X-er, this property took me back to the best childhood memories bather in avocado green and orange; velvet and shag. However, the nostalgia was exceeded by the thoughtfulness of Shellee as she thought of pretty much every need a guest might have while on the lake. From the most frequently used spices and condiments, to an extra fan, to insect repellant, she has anticipated it all!

We had a wonderful time. House was clean and fully stocked. The lake was magnificent. Beds were comfortable and plenty of them for my large family. Lots of outdoor space to relax and enjoy the view. Great trip overall!

Right on the Lake
We loved that the cabin was directly on the lake. The dock was a mere 20 steps from the porch. The kids played on the dock and in the water all day. We loved the fact that there was steps from the dock into the water. The cottage itself was great. Although compact, there was plenty of room. The outside fireplace, hammock, and table were some of our favorite area at the rental. The décor is complete nostalgia for anyone over 40!!!! We enjoyed our stay and ready to comeback another time. Great deal!!!!

Relaxing!
A quiet beautiful view from the porch. A cute little cottage to get away from everything! We took our Harley trike and it was a very nice area to ride! One day we put on 185 miles just checking out the area. The owners were very helpful with anything we needed.

Awesome Property
If I could give this property and the manager 10 stars - I would! The communication was fantastic! I love having a rental owner who lives close. The cabin was exactly as expected - if not better! The loft space is adorable - even though we didn't use it. Both beds downstairs were very comfortable. The kitchen was perfect! So much bigger and better stocked than we could have ever imagined - being that it is far away from a grocery store it was so fun to cook our meals in the kitchen and eat on the covered porch. I loved the outdoor shower and fireplace and when we needed some firewood - the owners brought some right over to us. It was quiet, in a great location to restaurants and marinas. The lake was beautiful and we could not have asked for better accommodations! This was our first time to Lake Martin and we will definitely be back and will probably stay in the 70s Kottage again! Thank you Shellee for a great stay in your awesome cabin!
