Creeper Trail Gem
Excellent place to stay right on the VA Creeper Trail. There is as much peace and quiet on top of this mountain as you can find anywhere on the planet. We saw the Milky Way stretch all the way across the sky. There are thousands more stars visible at night with no light noise to interfere. Everything we needed for our stay was nicely provided. Owner communicated excellently. Would recommend you book it now if your dates are available.

Perfect for us
Bikers loft is perfectly located between Damascus and Grayson Highlands State Park. In Damascus we rented bikes and caught shuttles for biking the Virginia Creeper Trail. In Grayson we hiked some of the most beautiful terrain I've seen in Va. There is a little country store/restaurant right down the road that has necessities. The property itself was a small, clean, well equipped efficiency located right on the Creeper Trail. Molly, our host, was proactive and attentive. We plan to stay again next visit. For more than 2 people she has a larger home for rent on the same property. S. & D.

Rural haven
This place is a gem. If you like to disconnect a bit and have a peaceful time then this is the place. Beautiful grounds with plenty of room to roam and a lovely creek and trail right out front. There is a quaint restaurant close by for a bite to eat and talk with friendly locals. Would live here forever happily.

Perfect location. Quiet and beautiful.
Close to all activities in the area - Grayson Highlands and Mount Rogers Rec Area. The loft was clean & quiet. I sat on the porch swing at night and watched the deer in the field below. In the morning I star gazed at the dark skies. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Property
Climb a mountain right from your property for great views! Loved strolling the surrounding property and enjoyed easy access to the Virginia Creeper Trail. You'll find a coffee shop right down the street which is on the trail, or you can drive your car if you stay right onto a gravel road to reach it. If in car, continue down the gravel road for amazing scenery. Great Pizza on the mountain in NC just a half hour away.

Perfect for relaxing and watching the wildlife !
This was our second stay at the "Bikers Loft". We were able to take our dog which was perfect. Enjoyed some porch sitting, watching the deer and turkey, walking the creeper trail and the trip into Damascus were all so enjoyable. Loft is comfortable, had everything we needed. Could not ask for a more gracious host. Cant wait til our next stay. ---The Combs

Perfect Get Away
We were looking for a place close to Mouth of Wilson for a wedding. Being able to walk out of the Biker Loft straight into the Creeper Trail was so cool. We even found some very old train tresses and nails! We enjoyed exploring the area. Though internet was weak, it was a great way for my husband and I to recharge and reconnect. Excellent stay. The amount of deer we saw each morning and evening was AWESOME!!!

Peace and Quiet
We had a wonderful time staying at the Bike Loft while visiting the Creeper Trail. Molly was very helpful. The facility was clean and literally right off the trail which was great for a short rainy morning ride to Green Cove Station. The view of the stars were amazing and the loft had everything we needed for a little get away. The only thing I would recommend to others would be to pre make your meals in advance just to save some time if you are going to be on the trail or do some hiking. We were pretty tired at the end of the day and the drive to food one way is 30-40 min which can be a long drive on the mountain road if you are used to city driving. Overall we had a great time and we were sad to leave.

Convenient place to unplug and enjoy the Creeper and Grayson highlands
Very clean, slept like a baby, enjoyed the convenience of a dishwasher in such a small rental. Pastoral setting just a short walk from Green Cove station. My dogs and I enjoyed walking the creeper in both directions from the loft, but rain precluded a bike ride. Twelve miles from Grayson highlands for gorgeous hiking. And the hobbitt house in back? Magical!

Hiking and biking Getaway
My husband and I are active seniors and this place suited out needs perfectly. Property exceptionally clean and well equipped. Checking in so easy. Just enter the code on door and you're in. Molly was quick to respond to any questions that I had and suggested a weather app that was very helpful with our planning. Loved the location. Close proximity to Grayson Highlands Park, Whitetop Mountain, nearby Appalachian Trail, and then to have Virginia Creeper cross the driveway. We enjoyed the convenience of walking the trail when we were too tired to hike further but still wanted a nice walk. Kitchen had what we needed to do cooking when we just wanted to stay put An adorable outdoor playhouse is on the property. This would be a great spot for extended families that could use both the house on the property and the loft for extra room and/or privacy. We enjoyed it so much that coming back with our bikes in the fall sounds very appealing.

Not what we hoped for
The cabin was not prepared when we arrived at the check-in time. It was clear that they had not cleaned the cabin from the previous renters. Not to mention there were bugs all over the walls and beds. We tried to call the property manager, but she did not answer. Thankfully, we were able to get a hold of the maid service. After 3.5 hours of waiting outside for the place to be cleaned, we were able to go into the cabin. It seemed a lot smaller than the pictures describe. The oven was dirty, so that anytime it was used the place smelled terrible. Globs of dust clung to the ceiling fans. The ladybugs were all over: walls, ceiling fans, cooking utensils, etc. Not that it's a big deal, but the DVD player only played in black and white, and the batteries in the remotes were either gone or not working. That being said, the Applacian Trail was beautiful.

Cozy retreat
Cozy quarters just right for two. In between the rainy weather we got in a nice ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail and a hike at nearby Grayson Highlands State Park. We found a wonderful chicken wing place at the edge of town in Damascus when we got off the trail, then caught a shuttle back up the mountain. When it rained we read books or watched TV in the house. Since the rental is pet friendly we were able to bring our dog Sam and he had a great time too. This was our first time on the Creeper Trail and it was a wonderful ride. Also we saw deer visiting the old apple tree in the yard every day at some point. Check out the well preserved railroad station just a half mile or so up the road (or trail) at Green Cove Station. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The check-in process was great everything was clean and the location was fantastic. We actually didn’t spend that much time at the property because we were biking and fishing the entire time. But when there, it was Awesome!

Biking or hiking you’re right on the trail
Quaint apartment right on the Virginia Creeper trail. One bedroom apartment with all the amenities. Apartment is very clean and owner responds quickly to questions. The only downsides is the stairs as it is above a garage if you have health issues and no cell service and internet isn’t the best. Would stay again

Fantastic Place
This was our first time doing the creeper trail. This location was an amazing place to stay, I thought that I would have been able to use the storage under the house for my Bike, however it was not available. The house is fantastic, it really feels like a tiny home away from home. One thing that I would say it that it needs better A/C circulation or a fan to put into the window for the living room area.
