Perfect Long Weekend
I've traveled to Baldwin County several times with my family, but wanted to stay somewhere special to celebrate my birthday. I am so happy to have found this gem of a home, as my family definitely had a memorable time. The weather was beautiful, and I spent most of my time while in the home sitting on the porch swing. We enjoyed nightly sunsets over the bay, while relaxing on the porch. The home is eclectically decorated, which gave the home character and an element of fun. Our teenage daughter stayed in the other main floor bedroom, and loved having a king bed to herself. The bed linens and pillows were very comfortable. Water pressure is great, and the bathrooms were nicely appointed with toiletries by Public Goods. I made several breakfast in the kitchen, and found it to be nicely appointed. The hosts (Dave and Jenn) were wonderfully communicative, and made sure that my family was informed as to the check in process well in advance. Dave stopped by to familiarize us with the lights and heating/cooling system soon after we arrived. Another nice touch: The hosts provided great coffee and even creamer in the refrigerator. The location is fantastic- as we were quickly and easily able to get to Daphne, downtown Fairhope, and even Mobile, during our stay. Highly recommend taking a walk along the bay that runs in front of the property. Hope to stay here again some day!

This was the most perfect place for our trip. The house was immaculate and the host were very welcoming and accommodating. The screened porch was amazing with a spectacular view. We would most certainly stay here again.

Beautiful comfortable bay getaway
This home is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The views are stunning and the owners are very kind and responsive. Close to grocery stores and restaurants in a lovely neighborhood. Would definitely recommend it.

Everything you could want!

Great experience all around!
Everything was really nice. From the start the hosts were extremely helpful and made themselves available if we needed anything and they were local. They also provided most things, like towels, coffee, washing pods, etc. They also didn’t require us to do much at the end which is always nice not to have to stress about. Everything was top quality. The deck and that view was stunning. The frogs at night in summertime is crazy. Can’t say one negative.

Youth baseball World Series-Daphne
We were in Daphne for a youth baseball World Series. We picked this home due to the close proximity to the bay and the Daphne sports complex. This location was great along with outstanding accommodations. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone that visits Daphne. We were close enough to Fairhope that we were able to enjoy some fun there too. The owners are very easy to work with and had everything ready for us when we arrived. Overall, great property and great location.

Best screened in porch experience ever!
The interior is completely updated and the house is immaculately clean. Our hosts were responsive, and over the top nice. He came by to give us a in-service on the operation of everything. They even had coffee, filters and half -n-half in the fridge. The house is so charming and the kitchen well stocked. Even the knives are sharp. The best part of the house is the screened in porch. There are binoculars for you to watch the numerous birds around - even a bald eagle. At night the frogs perform a beautiful natural symphony. It’s a super relaxing spot to unwind.

Beautiful Raised Cottage on the Bay
My husband, son, daughter in law, and I stayed at this lovely property for four nights. What a great house in a great location! We arrived after dark. It's always a little disorienting in the dark when you've never been somewhere, BUT this house has motion lights (outside and inside) to welcome you. The house is in a great location on Mobile Bay just off Scenic Hwy 98 in between Daphne and Fairhope in Montrose. It is quiet, relaxing, and gorgeous. I think this property is even better in person than in the photos - large, open living room, galley kitchen open to living room, laundry room (washer/dryer stack), 2 bedrooms w/king size beds each with en suite, loft with 2 twin beds - all immaculately clean, comfortable, up to date, well appointed, but not over done. The star of this property, however, is the screened in porch. We enjoyed coffee there every morning in the oversized swing and Adirondack chairs. (Also great coffee provided! What?!) You could literally spend all day on the porch- so relaxing! I noticed an accordion gate at the top of the back (porch side) stairs in case little ones need to be confined. The house has ALL the amenities to make your stay easy. Beds are great. WiFI works well. The hosts are so friendly and available for help/questions. They truly seem interested in making your stay unforgettable in the best possible way, and they succeeded with us! We can hardly wait to plan our next getaway to the porch!

Absolutely fabulous stay in this extremely charming bayview cottage located in the extremely charming town of Daphne on Mobile Bay. So many cozy, thoughtful details from comfy beds to beautiful furnishings to the cozy porch swing on the wonderful screened in porch. Beautiful location situated on the bay with spectacular sunset views; the leafy neighborhood is perfect for lovely walks; a quiet location convenient to every desire. Host is fantastic. We loved every minute of our stay.

Another fantastic stay at The Bay House!
Immaculate, comfortable, airy and bright. We had another wonderful stay. Conveniently located close to Daphne and Fairhope. Our family includes a senior and two kids, this house accommodates everyone perfectly. The sunsets from the HUGE screened in porch are amazing! You won’t regret your stay here at the lovely Bay House

Just go...you will love your stay!
Our stay in Daphne in this beautiful cottage was perfect!! We traveled to Fairhope and enjoyed shopping and eating in the adorable town. Our favorite places to eat were Ravenite, Sunset Point and Provisions We went to Loxley for a wedding also. Beautiful drives and not too far at all. We also drove to Orange Beach for some beach time and we loved eating at CoastAL there. Most importantly the cottage was perfect, comfortable and had everything we needed. The sunsets are no joke from their beautiful screened in porch. I wish I was there now. I could sit out there forever...heaven on earth. The beds and pillows were comfortable Dave (the owner and super host) helped us when we had a flat tire. He let us borrow his air pump and told us some local places to get it fixed. Extremely nice stay. We cannot wait to go back soon. Thank you sharing your beautiful home! If you get a chance to visit this area, stay here. You won't regret it!!

Beautiful relaxing unique property provided perfect family getaway
My husband and 2 of my daughters and I loved staying in here. This is a quiet comfortable home with a great view of Mobile Bay. I loved the screened porch, especially in the mornings. The hosts very so helpful but never intrusive. They had stocked the hime with above average supplies and made check in and out the easiest of any VRBO rental I’ve had.

Great gateaway!
The home is great, the location is ideal with very good restaurants nearby! Walking in the small beach in front if the hous was so enjoyable in the evening during sunset! The owner was very kind, he gave us an orientation tour and did everything to make our stay the most enjoyable. We felt like at home!
