"We had a lovely 4 day stay at the end of October, we loved the cottage, location and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very comfortable, the only thing missing was a place to hang our cloths, we didn't let this spoil our stay but we would have liked to have seen a wardrobe and drawers ( the wardrobe in the adverting photo isn't there ad it has been replaced by a TV ). We will be happy to recommend this property to family and friends. Paul and Carol"

"My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights whilst having a little holiday away from Sydney. The property was lovely and clean, beautifully decorated, and so warm and cosy on those cold nights. Almost every day we were visited by Coco the kitty and a few times by Poppy (also a kitty). The property was located in a great place for a holiday, with close proximity to so many lookouts, walks, and just a short drive to both Lithgow and Katoomba. I wouldn't change a thing, and I would love to return...

"The place is as it is described and pictured, STUNNING. Richard was so easy to reach and provided great communication in the lead up to our check in and was reachable if required during the stay. "Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "

"We enjoyed staying at Orchard Cottage. Please should be aware however of noise from the highway and trains. If people do not like night time noise they should consider something else. Whilst there was a lot of crockery to use, a lot of it was chipped, so I would suggest to the owner to renew the crockery. "Booked a two-night weekend with my friends at The Castle and we all had such a great time. The house is a beautiful mix of modern and medieval.
