The house was perfect for our stay. The beach is literally across the street. The pool is a nice place to relax after a day at the beach. The home has a very small starter pack so be prepared to purchase your essentials. The grill needs work. We could only get one burner to light. We ended up having to cook inside. I loved that every room had a bathroom for their own use. No games in home so bring if you enjoy that. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Would definitely come back.

The house was very clean. Beds were comfortable and views were excellent. In all honesty, the grass could have been mowed. Made the mosquitoes terrible. Was very difficult to take our small dog out to potty. There was trash under the house that you couldnt see until youbwere right on it becaise the grass was so tall. Other than that our vaction was great!

Perfect Time’

House was perfect for our annual Mother Daughter get away. Pool was needing attention but cleaner came before noon next day. Fully enjoyed the beach and pool for the remainder of our stay. Would highly recommend the home and will reserve for next year! Perfect!

Perfect location

This house is perfect set up and location. Short walk across road to beach. Kids loved the pool. Only complaint we had we sent in a message regarding a few things and we never heard back on our first day. We was not able to get the fan in livingroom on. No tv remote in one of the bedrooms, coffee pot top was broken and few other small things. However overall We still very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful island and beach house

We loved our stay at Dauphin Island. Such a beautiful laid back vacation spot. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday.

Dauphin Island - Vitamin Sea

Beautiful views in every direction. My grandchildren enjoyed the pool. Perfect place to go to get out of the hustle of live and slow down. We loved all of the local restaurants and shops. The town had something going on both weekends we were there. The house has plenty of space for large families. The kitchen was fully stocked for large groups. I will definitely be back.

4 college friends (who met in 1971) and spouses spent 4 days at Vitamin Sea! Enjoyed our visit even though the weather did not cooperate! Had a power outage along with plenty of rain! Would like to mention that the ice maker in the refrigerator was not working properly. We contacted the proper number on Thursday May 16th and the guy said he would come out. He never showed and it never got fixed and therefore we had to going and buy ice. The freezer part definitely need repair! We checked out at 9 am on Sunday May 19th and left a note also about the freezer.

Great stay!

We traveled as two families of 5 and shared the house for a week. Four adults and 6 kids ranging 10-14. The house was great, it has a great view out both sides and is newer which is a bonus. It seems to have a slight sway/rocking motion when the wind was high. We loved the pool area and the kids swam a ton. We never could figure out where the pool light switch was but it just seemed to turn on/off with a timer. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. They did include a few dishwasher pods to start off and a small bottle of dish soap and sponge. We had enough plates, pots and pans for all our meals. The gas grill was nice but the tank was about empty so we ran to refill it while waiting for Vacasa to get us connected with a local person and she reimbursed us for filling the tank. There were no coffee filters so we had to buy those and Ship & Shore really did have everything you could need which was nice. They should mention in the check in details email what they start you off with and what you might need to bring. If you drink coffee bring basket style filters. The table and chairs in the dining area was nice, but I hope they invest in some felt pads for the bottom of the chairs because they are heavy and scraping the floor boards. There was a dust pan but no broom and sand inevitably gets tracked in, there was a corded vacuum we used a few times. Also, switch the queen bedroom with the king in the “back” of the house so the two rooms looking ocean are king beds.

Awesome!!!

We loved this home. Fully stocked kitchen, sheets on the bed, towels in each bathroom. Great view of the bay and the ocean. Super short walk to the ocean (one street) and the pool was lovely! We wanted to control the pool lights and could not find a remote/instructions. That was the only thing!
