"Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! "

"We stayed 4 nights at Jim's wonderful property! It was secluded which we loved, we saw many many deer, a turkey and some Canadian Geese! The home is filled with so many historical items that were so interesting to see. "This area is amazing! We missed the spring blooms by a week, maybe. But it was still so pretty. The property was exactly as described. Communication was slow, but I did get responses. The property was clean, but here were dead bugs, and I mean A LOT of dead bugs, on every window seal and on the floor under the windows. Lots of cobwebs too, but it didn't affect the stay. "This place was cozy and spacious all at the same time. The fishing at the lake was great! This cabin was also back far enough from the lake that kids were able to go play outside without the fear of them going into the lake without us. It was just enough out of the way to be peaceful.
