Everything was remodeled and clean as a pin. "The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th of July holiday with three other families. We were close enough to amenities if/when we needed them, but had absolutely no reasons to leave the property - so much to do for everyone. The owner was wonderful to engage with, he was even able to supply wheelchair ramps to make the home more assessable for someone in our group who has a disability. We are already talking about booking again next year!"

"This was a cozy place to spend Thanksgiving weekend after visiting family in Rockford. I was craving the crackle and pop of a wood burning fireplace and arrived with plenty of firewood. The fireplace is GAS which was a surprise. Besides that minor let down it was a comfortable weekend and the river is beautiful. Great shower, good kitchen. It was frigid during our stay so we didn't get to take of advantage of the parks in the area, but there are plenty of options for outdoor activities nearby....
