"The house was very nice, roomy, and well maintained. The road leading in is narrow (which is expected for mountain roads), but the drive had plenty of parking. We throughly enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. Even though the trail head is farther than advertised (13 miles instead of 3 miles), the drive via SxS was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to see y’all again. "

"We traveled 4 hours to stay at this rental only to find out that the place was vacant and locked up tight. There has been no renovation and the host was unresponsive. There wasn't any furniture, no stove, no refridgerator, and there was trash around the place. We had no phone service and no place to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!!!"

"This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. "Overall the place was beyond great from every aspect to me. Everything inside the room was new and looked great only issue was no shower curtain but wasn’t a deal breaker. Me and my nephew stayed there over the weekend to do atv trails in the town of Gilbert WV. Was a blast will definitely go back. Anyone looking to book don’t let outside appearance fool you it definitely is nice and comfortable along with it being affordable too. "
