Nice Enough but not really a lake property
Family trip to visit one family member. Home is nice enough and it was clean, but all of the beds are HORRIBLE. The family member we came to visit left after 2 days, due to the beds in the bunk room. My father and mother had to switch from the master king, due the bed. Screen porch, which is a very popular location to be, definitely needed some TLC. Fans in poor condition and really needed a good hose down, and could use a few more chairs. Front porch has a nice sitting area to enjoy but steps and porch itself needs some work. The dock area was pretty much unusable as their are no furniture/chairs to use. No lake toys to enjoy and the slough that the home is on, ( the very back point), was not enticing at all. Definitely need a boat to enjoy the lake at all and not even sure water was deep enough for about. Communication was fairly prompt but very confusing emails and texts. Seems this property is owned by a company and managed by another company.

This cabin was just was we needed to hang out together as a family while we got ready for my nieces wedding! Plenty of room and never over crowded. Perfect place!!

Communication with the property managers was exceptional. The pictures fairly depicted the property. The house was located in a super quiet and peaceful area. One drawback was the internet speed, it was slow but given the location I think that kind of goes with the turf of living in a clearly natural setting. I was between four and five stars on this unit.

Peaceful getaway
Loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a quiet getaway. Great accommodations and great communication with the host. I would recommend bringing groceries and making sure you plan to cook at the property, as access to restaurants and delivery services is limited. Great time with the family and again, would highly recommend this property.

Not bad
Our stay was okay. Checking in was easy however as soon as we arrived we realized the photos made it look better than it actually was. The lake was completely dried up so any hopes we had of fishing were out the window. They charge for dog poop in the yard but all of the neighbors let their dogs run loose so there were droppings everywhere by the time we arrived. The house was cleaned but not well, everything in the kitchen was greasy and their were piles of dog hair behind the couches. The beds were immensely uncomfortable since the mattresses had indents in them. Lastly the most disappointing part was it was advertised as close to Chattanooga but it's still an hour drive.

Very nice house in a good location.
We enjoyed our stay and everything was as listed. The only thing I was concerned about was the contract and waivers seemed to be a little overboard. There were a lot of rules that had fines or other charges if we did something wrong based on all the rules. We always try to leave a property as we found it, clean & tidy, but I was a little concerned that we might accidentally break one of their rules.

The space was large enough to accommodate our extended family. The room with the 2 sets of bunk beds was perfect for all of the kids to be together. Overall it was the perfect space for us.

It was an amazing stay, everything was as described, the only things I would change is; internet strength lol and there were a lot of spider webs and dust on all furniture outside, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much, but it was still gorgeous, and we would stay here again.

This is a lovely property. We enjoyed the screened in porch perhaps the most. And the hot tub.
Overall a great stay! It was a rather long walk to the river but it was still beautiful! Would be great to see the water from the house- just a suggestion.

We loved staying. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed the quite. The home was cleaned inside although the outside had lots of cob webs we couldn't sit on the front porch but enjoyed the screened in porch in the back. The owns were very sweet and checked in on us.

Perfect for spending time with friends.
The house, while 30 min from and stores was perfect for us. We rented this place for a long weekend to catch up with a friend and her children. We were traveling from WA state and she came up from Georgia. The 4 boys ages 8-11 played in the basement and outside on the dock and stairs. The river was low this time of year so they played along the shore climbing the steep bank and testing their outdoorsman skills. Several trips up and down the stairs to the dock was a good workout for us all. The stairs are sturdy and in good repair. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of dishes and seating for everyone. We put all 4 boys in the bunkbed room upstairs for the sake of equality. We adults used the other room with a king bed on the top floor and the queen room on the middle and main floor. We left the bedroom in the basement with 2 queen beds empty only because the boys would have fought over who got it. They did play in the basement and kept most of their noise down there. The hot tub was nice and the lid was easy to open and replace. The screen didn’t show anything on the display but there was a separate thermometer. Also you can just stick your hand in the water to see how warm it is. Other than the display everything else seemed to work. The foosball table was a basic one. It had air hockey and pool options as well but it is a pretty small table. It looked relatively new but already had one broken part. It is still entertaining and fun for young kids though. Oh! The screen porch was perfect! Right off the kitchen with its own stairs down. Overall this was a good place to spend time with family and friends.

Perfect getaway
Accommodating for a large or small group - does not comfortably sleep 16 as noted unless you double up in full / double beds. You’ll get in a good aerobic workout heading down to the dock but it’s well worth it! Serene and peaceful lake living!
