Very quiet & relaxing!
This quaint, small cabin was exactly what my husband & I hoped for on our year-end vacation. It was quiet & perfect for thr two of us! The bed is FIRM so be prepared for that. Its great for those with back issues. Situated just 25min frim downtown Boone & 45min from Bammer Elk, we found it situated just far enough from where we wanted to venture out to dine. The rest of the time, we RESTED! Thank you for such a relaxing stay,we appreciate it!.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway
Absolutely beautiful little mountain getaway. The location and scenery is so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed. Absolutely loved having the creek behind the house. We could listen to that all day! Hot tub was a nice amenity in the evenings also! Will definitely be back to enjoy.

Creek was really low no rain no fish except minnows 2 otters big 5ft water snake scared me badly, ac in cabin didn’t work well rough hot sleeping queen bed mattress has a deep hole hurt my back we want be back hot tub only thing nice

Been coming back here for about 4 years, beautiful property well maintained. I did have problems with the satellite tv, could only watch “Guys Grocery Games”. I wasnt on vacation to watch tv but news in the evening would have been nice. I’ll be back, fingers crossed!

We ejoyed the calm and quiet.
We like the cabin ,the location, the trout stream. We did not enjoy it being in a curve on a gravel dry road ,the dust was very heavy,and covered everything. I'm sorry ,but it is the truth.

We had a great time. I have copd so the dirt road was not good for me, and the people an dirt bikes and four wheelers like to fly on this rd throwing dust. The cabin was so nice. I cant say i would like to come back, but i probably would if my husband wants to come back. Neighbors were so nice. The cabin would have been better if it was on a paved rd. I loved it, we had a very good time

Great stay for 2!
My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and it was a great escape. There are neighbors but you have your privacy still. The area was nice and quiet - no cell service but we were able to use the provided wifi when we needed with our smart phones. The cabin is a perfect size for 2 or a small, young family. It was basically one large space with a bathroom as the only separated room. It was SUPER CLEAN. It has everything you needed. I felt that the owners went above and beyond to provide things you may need on your stay. There was plenty of linens and towels but also pots, pans, seasonings, coffee, tea, sugar, dish detergent, etc. While being "unplugged" a bit, you also had plenty of upgraded features to help you feel at home. The wifi was great. There was a super large flatscreen TV with roku. Stainless steal appliances and sink, newer washer and dryer, updated bathroom. The hot tub was a huge plus. It was super nice, maybe new? But it was great to relax in. It was very clean - just like the rest of the cabin. Highly recommended!

Great overall weekend getaway, everything you could possibly need and one spot was recently updated. Really enjoyed our time in the hot tub and listening to the river couldn’t have asked for more prepared and ideal getaway.

Small cabin with living room, bedroom, and kitchen, and one room and a small bathroom. Everything a couple would want or would need for a weekend getaway. Definitely a spot that I’ll revisit.
