"We booked this at the very last minute so we could clean out our father’s home (he passed the week before). It was perfect for our needs. One caution…the grass has tiny little burrs that stick to socks and flip flops. Nothing to do about them but if you have a dog, check their paws. We were even able to add an additional night easily when the clean out took longer than we expected. I would recommend!"

"We booked this house a little later than we wanted and really got so lucky! The place is perfect for our family needs: elderly parents, teens, extended family. There is a room on the first floor which is perfect for my parents, as it has a bathroom and they didn't have to go up/down many stairs. The upstairs bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious (A+ for great shower pressure!). Everything was clean and organized. There are many things in the shed for your beach trips, so no need...

"Three nights, me and my hubby. Found the property easily. Clean. Decorated and comfortable. Disappointed that we didn’t have access to a working fireplace. Would have been nice on a cool windy evening but otherwise nice n warm. Loved the huge front deck wrapped myself in a quilt and read in the sunshine enjoying the peace and water view. "

"The cottage is as described. There is no stove but it truly didn’t matter. Bed is very compfy. Shower is clean and hot. Quit neighborhood. The screened in porch is the best! Coffee and reading in the rockers. The cottage is close to everything !Thank you Don. We loved our stay."

The two bathrooms we also great since it was my wife and I, our daughter and her best friend. The separate space for the adults was super! "Great location convenient to restaurants and Assateague. The view from the porch is beautiful and the deck furniture is really nice. The appliances are ok. The kitchen drawers and cabinets need to be thoroughly scrubbed and organized. Allot of the things in the drawers needs to be discarded. The Master bed is ok. The other beds are very uncomfortable and could benefit from quality mattress toppers. Sheets and towels were clean."
