Perfect cottage for people with dogs
It was hard to find as there was a diversion but we enjoyed every minute. unfortnately due to weather conditions we could only use outside seating on first eventing, but the house is also great inside :-) Missed nothing at all

Cornish hideaway
Excellent property, as per description, all facilities worked, showers were great, host was prompt in replying to queries, nice welcome pack of essentials, milk, biscuits, proscecco.... nice secluded patio with furniture. Property in tiny hamlet well off the beaten track, but only 15 minutes to Port Isaac, and tintagel, 20 minutes to Rock.

Just what we needed
We considered ourselves lucky to have found such a lovely place to stay. A very comfortable and well furnished cottage in an ideal location for exploring this part of Cornwall. We would certainly like to book again.

Lovely cottage, as a dog owner would 100% recommend. Has all the facilities and amenities you need. One recommendation would be a handrail on the top of the stairs. Great location to explore North Cornwall. Thank you for the Prosecco and milk upon arrival.

The Dream Cottage
Welch cottage is absolutely beautiful. It is immaculate, cosy and has everything you could need. We had a wonderful week and we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend.

A lovely week away
Great-sized cottage and very comfortable with 4 adults, 2 children and our dogs. Communication with the property owner was fantastic. Really lovely and peaceful. Well equipped. As in the property details, a car is definitely needed, but lots not far away. Highly recommend Polzeath beach. Would stay again.

Great stay
There were only 3 of us, so very spacious and would also be plenty of room for 5 or 6. Cottage was well equipped and all instructions were clear and concise. Nice touch to have tea, coffee, sugar, milk, locally made cake and a bottle of prosecco on arrival. Generally very clean, except for bath mat. Generally very comfortable, although matress in master bedroom could do with replacement. All in all a great cottage and lovely location.

Cosy cottage for New Year's Eve
Welch Cottage is very comfortable and Sharon was very helpful. It is extremely well equipped - we loved the wood burner and lots of sofas in the sitting room, and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for a slap up New Year's Eve dinner. The showers are great, the only tiny (really tiny) let down was the size of the towels which were a bit small. We're planning to return in the summer to take advantage of the patio, bbq and french windows!

Fabulous cottage
A little off the beaten track this dog friendly cottage was perfect for for us. We were visiting Cornwall with some friends from the US and they were enchanted by the cottage, beautifully set up and well equipped with a large garden, plenty of space to relax after days spent visiting the popular sites which are easy to reach.

Narrow Cornish lanes lead to delightful property
Well-equipped cottage in a secluded village down narrow lanes. Large garden ideal for kids to kick a ball though toddlers might have difficulty with steps leading up to it. Staircase tricky for little ones/older guests too. TV and internet connection good. Master bedroom has the most powerful shower I have ever experienced!

Perfect cottage and location
The cottage was spacious, clean and well furnished. Ideal for us, our daughter and son-in-law, their 2 children and dog. Excellent big garden to play in. Located near some lovely woodland walks and, for us, just outside St Teath where our son lives. Close to Wadebridge and the coastline.

Really enjoyed it. Peaceful location yet accessible for costal path walks and amenities.

Great cottage for family
We stayed for a week and had such a great time. Cottage was clean and perfect for us (family of 5, daughters 7,7 and 9). Quiet and comfortable. Cottages needs a little maintenance update but appreciate this was scheduled prior to Covid lockdown so owners couldn’t get to it. Nonetheless, all minor and didn’t spoil our break. Highly recommend Pilchards in Port Gaverne for a sundowner, whilst watching the sunset in the cove is beautiful. Would stay again!

Welches cottage
Very well kept cottage in a great location. The cottage had all the amenities and comforts you would expect and require. The only area for improvement would be the sealant in the two showers which was quite mouldy and in need of redoing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
