"We all absolutely no complaints on our stay, the properly was cleaned for our arrival and we even had a cake with some wine left for our arrival. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. "Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . Enjoyed 7 perfect days. Jan and Phill "

"Hut was well stocked with all the stuff you need. Great hot water & pressure in shower. Clean, cozy & comfortable beds. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved our wood fired hot tub. Just be careful with the water level once you start adding people!"

"Beautiful part of Scotland the caravan site However was a little on the shabby side, some of the caravans were in really bad condition which made the site look worse than what it was, the inside of our caravan was not very clean and the fixtures had seen better days."

"The house was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The children (2-5 years old) loved the yard and game room, and the adults got the game room to themselves when the children went to bed. The grounds are lovely and well maintained and the house is very comfortable. Martin, our host, was very responsive. We did not rent cars, so we used a tour company for day trips and also used taxis for nearby destinations. Thank you Martin!"
