Rejuvenating and far too short!
Wonderful stay. Wish we had an additional week! The “loft” views of Swan Pond, with the breezes filtering in, made even our simplest of meals an experience! Whether using the complementary watercraft on the Pond or sitting and reading (or napping) by the pond, the salt air relaxed the soul. Even a rainy day in that “loft” made one feel like a kid in a tree house. Laurence is a Primo host!! Five Star! So knowledgeable and friendly, not at all intrusive, but so helpful. Our elderly canine gentleman loved all the naps he got too.

Lovely old Cape Cod
The Boathouse is private, peaceful and has the most amazing views. Every necessity is thoughtfully provided by your charming host Laurence and his pal Shadow the puppy. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect Cape getaway
Loved the beautiful pond view and tranquil atmosphere. Nice patio overlooking the water and comfy interior. Near restaurants and lots of hiking trails. Laurance is a gracious and friendly host. We wished we'd booked a longer stay!

Awesome the views are spectacular, was greeted by Larry an his new pup shadow , who is so adorable , our pups loved it there . So relaxing easy to get around to different places on the cape definitely a 10 . Will be going back again

Great views of the pond. Perfect little spot for a getaway! We appreciated access to the kayaks and canoe to take advantage of Swan Pond and River. Owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Beautiful views and even more wonderful host!
Laurance's Vrbo is in the middle of the Cape--great distance from downtown areas, Ptown, and beaches! He is a wonderful host that gave a full run-down of the place, leaving no details missed! Lives right next door for any needs. Very detail oriented--e.g. complimentary water for hard water on the Cape and iron! Gave such wonderful recommendations and had the best time kayaking out on the water. Thank you so much! :)

Great Waterfront View and Privacy
Laurance is very helpful and easy-going. He welcomed our dog, was quick to respond whenever we had a question, and never felt over-bearing or like he was prying while we were enjoying his home. The property has a small launch area for entering the water and ample space for hanging out. Our favorite feature of the boathouse is being able to look out over the water from almost anywhere in the house. The kitchen has everything you need, and Laurance has provided an outdoor grill. There were no issues with cleanliness in the house. There were also two AC units that help keep us comfortable inside. We hope to come back to visit soon, we absolutely enjoyed the boathouse and getting to know Laurance.

A perfect place for an amazing Cape vacation.
Had an amazing stay at the boat house loft. The location can't be beat. The view is incredible. Minutes to the beaches, bike trails and everything else. Kayaking the pond is a great option and lets you enjoy the plentiful waterfowl in the area. Perfect place for a couple. Only complaint would be the water pressure on the shower was low. A cozy place in a perfect location.

A little gem in a great location
A waterfront location equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Host Laurance is nearby and available when and if you need him, and invisible when you don't. Besides having a kitchen with most everything you'll need, and a bedroom with a large flat-screen TV, you will find lots of outdoors bonuses at no extra charge. You've got a BBQ with two propane tanks, seating and tables, a Zodiac rowboat, two kayaks and a standup paddle board. Centrally-located on the Cape, easy access to stores and restaurants, but otherwise a little paradise hideaway. Our dog loved it, and so did we!

Comfy quiet place!
Me, my partner and our dog really enjoyed our stay here! Laurance Is very kind, gave us a very thorough tour of the place in the amenities and some suggestions for things to do with our dog. The Dirt road to the place is not too bad at least when it's dry, probably any SUV or even a sedan with enough clearance should have zero issues with it. well we didn't get around to using any of the outdoor amenities besides the fireplace, it was nice to have them as an option in case we just wanted to stay and hang out at the place. But since we were there for just a weekend we prioritized getting to see lots of other places. We found the place pretty clean and comfortable and the ample windows and Pond views were very amazing and relaxing. This was a great find both for location and price and for having booked it basically two weeks before our trip when there was basically nothing else available within our price range . Would love to come back for a longer day!

A Charming Week on the Cape
Listing photos were accurate. This is a cute older boat house on a salt water pond fed by the ocean. Our stay was what we expected. Laurence the property manager was super nice and friendly. We picked this property because we were traveling with our dog and we also loved that it had kayaks etc available on site not to mention a beautiful pond water view. It was perfect for our stay for a week on the Cape during the 4th of July. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was very thoughtful and detail oriented for our stay. It felt fairly secluded for a busy time on the cape given it being a holiday week. Thanks Laurence for a great stay!

50th Wedding Anniversary

Friendly, safe, clean, very comfortable
We were looking for a friendly place where our pup would be welcomed and we could do what we needed to do. We needed to rest, be quiet, recuperate with nature and sleep! We got that. I want to thank Lawrence and King for making our stay exactly what we needed and we will go back. Thank you Laurence for giving us a place to be comfy while we travelled to various beaches around the Cape.We had a great 5 days!

Everything you'd want, and more!
The location was great, quiet, overlooking a beautiful (very large pond/waterway), a walk to the Rail Trail and grocery store. A short drive to neighboring towns and an easy ride to PTown. Laurence was a gracious and informative host. Would highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing Getaway
Our second time staying at the Boat Loft. Had a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of work. The inside definitely could use a touch up, but the location and price can not be beat. The view from the front room out over Swan Lake is magical. You feel as if you are floating along, watching so many fowl floating and flying by. We spent most days kayaking the lake, meandering our way down the river and ending up relaxing on the sandy ocean beach, just watching the waves roll by! Then a return trip back up the river for a great dinner either from the local seafood restaurant or grilled outside on the BBQ. Our two pups enjoyed coming with us on the trip which makes it even that more memorable!! The campfires at night with coyotes howling in the near distance was so awe inspiring too. Then of course meeting King the owners dog, what a magnificent looking dog and oh so sweet! I would highly recommend the Boat Loft if you are trying to find a gem hidden in the rough.
