Wonderful tental

What a nice surprise we had when we checked in and realized that every bedroom had its own bath! We had our 2 children, their spouses, and 7 grandchildren. We were there to attend a family wedding in Morrison. We did a lot of cooking in the well stocked kitchen and there was more than enough plates, etc for our group. Lots of inside and outside games for all ages. Although we had no infants, the home was fully stocked on baby equipment.

Fantastic Reunion Destination!

This exceeded our expectations, the location is perfect for the real mountain feel, but close to Denver. Everyone had their own room/bathroom, and the ginormous kitchen/eating area fit us all! We made a couple great day trips to Breckenridge to ski which was great too! The owners were super easy to work with and we all liked it so much I expect we will choose Denver and this home again for a future reunion. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this one deserves it!

Relaxing Getaway in the Mountains

This was the perfect rental for our group. Far away enough to relax but easy to get to places. We went to Fiddlers Green and Red Rocks from here and so simple (perfect for Red Rocks). 6 couples and we all had our own room and bathroom. Hard to find. Could walk to Enchanted Forest/Apex trail from the house. Fun day trips to mountain towns as well. Jon greeted us upon arrival, showed us the lay of the land, and quickly responded if we needed anything. Spent quite a bit of time on the front porch just relaxing in rocking chairs. Full kitchen and outdoor grill which we took full advantage of. Loved the chairs out back around the firepit and enjoyed outdoor games provided. The house fit perfectly for our group. Thank you Jon and Sylvia!

Stay With Extended Family

The property was a wonderful place for extended family to stay and gather while in town from out-of-state for a family reunion! John and Sylvia are fantastic hosts and the house had everything we needed to make everyone comfortable-including kitchen equipment for cooking and a bed for everyone! We highly recommend this property and these hosts!

Family gathering for a Holden, Colorado wedding

John and Sylvia were a pleasure to work with. They met us at their gorgeous home and gave us a quick tour when we arrived. We needed a place for a large family plus a Grandma and some cousins to stay and get ready for a wedding at a nearby golf course. The bathrooms and bedrooms on the main floor were perfect for older travelers with mobility issues. The pantry was fully stocked so when we needed cinnamon or corn starch for a recipe it was available. Pressing dresses and suits was a breeze as John and Sylvia had ironing boards and steamers to help us look like we weren’t dressing from a suitcase. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions to this lovely mountain stay.

CO Rockies Perfection

From the jump, John and Sylvia were kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and efficient. The property was better than we had hoped which went a long way to making our daughter's wedding weekend a huge success with our family and friends. I will definitely stay at the lodge again and look forward to seeing both John and Sylvia again

Great stay at the Colorado Lodge

We had such a great time at the Colorado Lodge. Tons of room for all of us and every bedroom has it's own bathroom which was a big plus. The hosts were great and we could not have asked for a better stay. Would highly recommend this place for anyone.

Lovely spot for a retreat

The home was a lovely place for our board retreat. We had ample space to work and play, and it created a great sense of camaraderie to cook together. All in all, we couldn't have been happier. Many thanks to John and Julie for their hospitality.

A perfect fit!

This house is AMAZING! Pictures do not do it justice. We had a large group of family and friends staying at the house for my sons wedding, the bedrooms are beyond amazing and the living room and kitchen are absolutely gorgeous. We also found time to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit. Both of those extras were a absolutely perfect. We held my sons rehearsal dinner in the barn and it was picture perfect! We prepared food ourselves for 50 guest and the kitchen and supply’s were perfect. If you’re looking for a place in Colorado to gather with family and/or friends this is the spot!!!! I can’t tell you how perfect everything about this house is!! I will definitely save this listing with hopes to visit again! Thank you to John and his wife for sharing your home with us and helping to make my sons wedding weekend magical.

Colorado Lodge a great place for a business retreat

Lots of nice bedrooms and bathrooms! I give this place a 5 star, but some of the mattresses and the sofa needs replacing. Looks nice but cushions and support are worn out.

Annual Ski Trip

It's not often that you are pleasantly surprised when you arrive at a property that you knew was nice when you booked it. The pictures do not do it justice. The property is clean and modern with more than enough space for our group of friends and family. The owners are very responsive and friendly. We had a couple of very minor issues, which is to be expected with a rental, and I could not have asked for a quicker response. The owner himself was there to resolve the issues. I couldn't think of a complaint if I tried. Our biggest concern before we arrived was that we usually stay a little deeper into the mountains so we were worried that it would not have that feel. If that is a concern then don't let it be. The views are great and even though you're less than half an hour from Denver you have that secluded, mountain feel. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great Lodge

We were in town for a wedding from 3 different states and had a great time staying in the well equipped lodge. So much to do and so relaxing. I highly recommend for groups who like to have fun and make memories.

Colorado Wedding

Amazing! The house was spacious, everyone had a private bath and the barn on the property was absolutely perfect for our rehearsal dinner. We rented this place because of space and the use of the barn for the rehearsal dinner but we have all agreed that we will be visiting often!

S MT Lookout road house

Grass could have been cut to give a better look from the road. mouse poop in the pantry. everything worked well. thought there could have been more closets in the bedrooms instead of refrigerators, desks and counters. I have Hulu and none of the TV's would support it.
