"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. "This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"

"Overall the place was good. Kitchen is smaller than we thought and the dishwasher was hard to use. The panel on the front of the dishwasher was too long so you couldn't open it all the way to fill and empty properly. There was no extra hand soap in the bathrooms or bin bags in the kitchen which made cleaning a challenge.Location was fabulous and communication with the owner was great and easy. Overall nice place. Would stay again."

"We spent the New Year on Bute and the was in the perfect location not only for its views over the Firth, but also for exploring the rest of the island. It did feel a little chilly on arrival, but with the clear instructions we were soon able to get it feeling nice and warm. "Die Kaution wurde vollständig einbehalten, obwohl sämtliche Regeln bezüglich hinterlassen des Apartments und der Sauberkeit eingehalten wurden. Anscheinend musste das Sofa gereinigt werden weil es so sehr gestunken hat. Vielleicht sollte einfach mal der Preis für die Unterkunft angehoben werden, anstatt sich noch einen Bonus in Form der Kaution zu erschleichen. Wie wäre es mal mit Regeln anpassen bzw. verbieten das Sofa zu benutzen?"
