"Our room was fastidiously clean and kept tidy. Staff was amazing and made sure all our needs were met, and went out of their way to make us welcome. The bed and pillows were comfortable. "An amazing, unique place to stay. It’s so remote and the views are incredible! The condors really do fly straight past the property - you wouldn’t even need to leave! Access can be tricky but very manageable - we booked a public bus from Arequipa to cabanaaconde and you have to tell the driver where you want to get off. The staff at La Granja came to pick us up from here. We booked through La Granja for a smaller minibus back to Arequipa which involved a few stops at viewpoints on the way home....

"Excelente el hotel y el servicio, incluso despues de mi estadia cuando me di cuenta que había dejado algo en la habitación y el personal del hotel tomó la molestia de mandarmelo por encargado. Upon contacting them, the staff coordinated to send the bag via bus to a point where I could pick it up. Thank you!!"

"Beautiful location, the hot springs were wonderful and there's access to the river. Staff was very nice and accommodating even though our Spanish is terrible. They helped us connect with our tour to Colca Canyon in the morning. Breakfast buffet was nice. The room was cozy and comfortable."

"Everything about Miskiwasi was excellent. The accommodations are very comfortable and the restaurant is the best in Yanqui or Chivay. I would highly recommend it to anyone."

"The worst “hotel” imaginable. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. No wifi (i mean who needs wifi). I was told to be ready at 6 am sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat....

"Overall it was a good experience. The bathroom were very nice and practical, the beds really confortables and we had enough blankets to keep us warm during the night, but when you look at the ceiling, it’s plywood and that breaks the charm. The outside is beautiful and the pool is pretty. The men who were working there, where nice and attentive to our needs, and help us."
